It's still a continuation of the manga and I consider it canon so no it totes doesn't.

Considering any of the movies canon won't change that they operate on different logic from the rest of the series. And GT was also a continuation of the manga, so that's not saying much.

I don't see the need for a separate thread. At this point, there's literally nothing left to even discuss about the movie unless you're going to discuss the content of the movie itself. We already know all of the production stuff, behind-the-scenes, cast, tie-in-products, etc.

@Saiga Difference between this movie and GT is Toriyama is actually involved with the story. Toriyama calls GT a side story, but he puts this into the mangas history. Heck, he makes it sound like this has been the most he's been involved, and considering he had come up with the basic plot for the JSATS as well, it could mean he was involved quite a lot. Also he says he imagined the manga had continued when thinking up the story. That's more than enough for me to put this way past "Movie logic".

No. He gets back to normal SSJ, but he learnt the form's godlike feeling and can use SSJG's power.
