How Vegeta becomes stronger than Goku ?

Anyway, I just realized. Since we now know that apparently Pan is older than Bra, that would also confirm which year she was born in, correct? I know the GT Perfect Files or the Daizenshu or something gave her two different birth years by mistake (one before Pan, and one after).

Age 778: Bra is born.
Age 779: Pan is born.
Age 780: Bra is born (again?!).

The first Bra year was from the D7 Human Racial Dictionary, while the second year is from the D7 Timeline, and again used by the GT Perfect Files. With BoG supporting that Pan is older than Bra, Battle of Gods should take place 5 years after Boo arc, not 2. Which would mean that Pan's age is retconned?

If it's 5 years after the Buu Arc, Marron should be 9, and Goten and Trunks should be teeneagers. But they loook too young in the movie.
What's shocking as well is Dende's appearance. He should not be a kid anymore - he was a teeneger at the beginning af the Buu arc, then Toriyama made him a kid again, then he appeared as a teeneger on the website image, and he is shown as a kid again in the actual movie.

If you ask me, I think that the manga should reign above all else. If she's only 4 (maybe going on 5) in the manga's epilogue, then Battle of Gods takes place however many years is required before that. I think the unlikely youthful look of Goten, Trunks, Dende, and Marron can just be chalked up to design inconsistencies (or dare I say laziness on the characters designers' part).

It was never said anywhere that BoG was 2 years after the Boo arc, we just assumed that based on the prophesy being made 39 years ago, and assuming that corresponded with Goku's age. But probably the 39 years wasn't based on Goku's age after all.

If you ask me, you get something else. I think the manga's completely fine up until the end of Majin Buu. Then this movie, and then the final 3 or so chapters can be edited accordingly to fit BoG in :p I really don't mind if the ending is rewritten :p

I like that theory, or outlook rather. That and, if this movie was really set two years after the Boo arc, it runs dangerously close to the exact same time frame as the JSAT special, so spreading it out a little more is better.

I said this ages back, but I'm pretty sure I was ignored: the 39 isn't just some random number - it's based on the pronounciation of "3" and "9" in Japanese which come out to "Sankyuu." "Sankyuu" = "Thank You," it's probably Toriyama or Toei or whatever thanking the fans for following the series and being fans for so long. Think about how often Toriyama wrote "Thank You" on the manga covers of the final volumes.

I'm sure you can come up with something, the possibilities are endless when writing fiction :0 I think a cool idea is Goku goes SS4 and Baby responds by becoming Golden Oozaru, and SS4 still isn't enough as Baby continuously absorbs energy from the mind controlled Earthlings. Goku calls upon the power of the Super Saiyan God however, utilizing his Saiyan family, and becomes a Super Saiyan 4 God, with glowing red fur and hair.

Super Saiyan God is a legendary form that needs the power of six pure hearted Saiyans. Super Saiyan God once appeared on planet Vegeta to stop bad Saiyans, but he failed because of the form's time limit.

Does anyone else find this hilarious? Super Saiyan God came to stop the bad Saiyans, but the time limit ran out - so the person who originally was the SSG probably got his ass waxed by those very same bad Saiyans the moment the form ran dry, lol.

Which is why I guess they retconned Pan's age. Besides, it's officially confirmed that it takes place 2 years later, so Pan should be 8 in the 28th TB, and 13-14 in GT.

I don't know, Toriyama is heavily involved in this, so maybe he changed his mind as well? I wonder if the age will be "corrected" in the Full Color release of the manga.

True, but it doesn't make sense to be more that 2 years later, judging from Goten's, Trunks', Dende's, and Marron's appearance.

Wow, awesome! Can't wait to actually see it, only thing I'm worried about is the BGM score.
And yes, my wish about SSJ God's design came trough, that he's simmilar to normal SSJ a lot!
Everything else souns great. I wonder what's that Vegeta's knowledge about Bills and how it's done in the movie.
I'm little dissapointed about Uisu, more that now we know that he's actually super strong!

Even if they could, they're clearly not ready for that. Goku doesn't even beat Bills, and he's supposed to be the weakest. That's like if in Saint Seiya, none of the Bronze Saints beat Aldeboran and yet, there's 11 more Gold Saints much stronger than him.

I don't see a problem with Goten, Trunks or Marron's ages vs. how old they appear. Goten and Trunks are part Saiyan (and we know that Goku didn't look like a teenager at age 12 or even at age 15), and Marron is part Krillin (and he also stayed a runt for a long time before finally getting taller.)

Of course, future Trunks seems to have had "Gohan-type" aging while main-timeline Trunks has "Goku-type" aging. Guess that's yet another timeline difference.

Dende jumping back and forth between teenager-sized and older-kid-sized (and then adult-sized by the time Uub shows up) is more of an inconsistency, but then again he was inconsistent even in the original series, so...
