Kai continuation being held off because of "Gods"?
Just a question. I have heard no updates regarding the continuation of Kai and it's been a few months now since it was originally announced. I assume it has to do with Battle of Gods most likely eating up all of Toei's Dragon Ball schedule at the moment.
Does anyone have anything?

I wipe it off the tile, the light is brighter this time, everything is 3D blasphemy.
My eyes are red and gold, the hair is standing straight up, this is not the way I picture me.
I can't control my shakes, how the hell did I get here? Something about this, so very wrong.
I have to laugh out loud, I wish I didn't like this. Is it a dream or a memory?

Nothing official, but they are likely still in the process of producing the episodes.
The biggest truths aren't original. The truth is ketchup. It's Jim Belushi. Its job isn't to blow our minds. It's to be within reach.

Plus, Toei never even announced new Kai. The only reason we know about it, is because Mayumi Tanaka let ut our via her blog. As far as Toei is concerned they either don't know that the word is out or don't care, haha.

I predict that the first official announcement we hear about it will come from FUNimation, not Toei, since it's being produced with international audiences in mind. Of course, we don't know for a fact that FUNimation is going to get it first, or that they will get it at all.................but it's one of those, "even if we don't know that, we can safely assume that'll be the case" kind of scenarios.
A "rather haggard" translation of a line from Future Gohan in DBZ, provided to FUNimation by Toei:
"To think of fighting that is this fun...so, it was pleasant fight, as many as, therefore is a feeling which is good the fight where."

It'd be hilarious and not understandable if it gets released in Europe, but not America.TheBlackPaladin wrote:I predict that the first official announcement we hear about it will come from FUNimation, not Toei, since it's being produced with international audiences in mind. Well, I've learned to never say never with this franchise. Some crazy, crazy, crazy stuff has happened on both Toei's end and FUNimation's end. FUNimation not getting it first would be among the crazier stories, though.sangofe wrote:It'd be hilarious and not understandable if it gets released in Europe, but not America.TheBlackPaladin wrote:I predict that the first official announcement we hear about it will come from FUNimation, not Toei, since it's being produced with international audiences in mind. I didn't say not getting it first, I said not getting it at all. Which I can't even imagine happening since FUNimation are masters at milking the Dragonball franchise, and thus should be the clear number one company for Toei to make deals with. AB, on the other hand, has been really bad at selling the series'.TheBlackPaladin wrote:Well, I've learned to never say never with this franchise. I really don't mind waiting for years for Toei Animation to do Majin Boo Saga for Dragon Ball Kai. When they're working on projects such as 'Battle of Gods' and a cross-over I read about.
