Evolution Themed Fan Art?

Okay, crazy idea, I know - but hear me out.

The discussion about Dragon Ball Evolution in another part of the forum actually had me thinking about if there was anything else I actually 'liked' about the film, and one thing that came to mind was "Goku's" gi in it. And when I was thinking about it, I remembered this one really great fan-art of actual Goku from the anime/manga wearing the outfit, locked in combat with actual Piccolo who was wearing his Evolution outfit.



I for one actually think Goku looks good in this version of the outfit, so does anyone know of any other good fan art of him wearing it?

This isn't too crazy! Haha, the coustumes were probably the only saving factor of Evolution. Even if they did a rebooted Live Action version of the franchise. I would hope they keep that Gi for Goku. It's got a perfect mix of 'Oh, it's Goku's Gi!' but also looks more stylistic and actually managed to work.

Yeah I agree that the costumes were pretty decent and Piccolos design was ace.

Glad I'm not the only one that agrees that his gi looked good at least.

Here's another one that I found, though it's not the best. And believe it or not Furanki, I like your paint edit enough that I might be making an avatar out of that for future use.

I don't like the bottom of DBE Goku's pants. I prefer the way the pants go inside the boots in the manga/anime.

Yeah, I'll admit that part's a little meh. Especially in the fan art I posted in the start of the thread, he looks like he's wearing bell-bottoms kinda. It's the gi top that I really, really, reaaaalllyyy like though. There's just something awesome about it.

I like the second one you posted and the one Furanki posted. I think Furanki's would be awesome if he put some orange on the boots like the second one you posted has (maybe some black too.

Thanks! Haha, but I did make an adjustment based on dario03's suggestion. It looks better this way, that way there isn't blue pants on blue shoes. But, I still kept his shoes the same design, I just switched the colors.
