Agreed. Gohan is that guy that that ruins a good photo.

So, I guess we are going to get a 3rd Toriyama robot? We got a Support-type & an Attack-type, so what remains is a Defense-type.

I can't figure out what's up with his hands in that picture, are they the normal Toribot hands?

I think they are supposed to be ink bottles. That's what they look like to me at least.

That Red new one's an Attack type, I believe.

Based on what we know, the next set will consist of Battle of Gods and Return My Gohan. Get ready for big daddy Garlic. xD

Wait, that's Garlick?! It's the first time we see him, right? That's cool!

I was making a joke based on the dub...or was it TFS? I forget by now. Anyway, that's Ginger. He was released as part of a promo set, and when they do this, it usually implies the rest of the crew will be included in the next set of cards. So Garlic Jr. and his DBZ Movie 1 crew should be in GM8 (maybe along with the 4 monarchs from the anime if they want to be completionists, but they didn't include Yakon with the rest of the guys possessed by Babidi...).

"Come to big daddy Garlic!" was from the FUNimation dub at the end of season three, and one of the big lulz-worthy moments we all pointed to as we hugged our upcoming bilingual DVDs (or were they already out? I don't remember. I'm old.).

Not that I cared about Garlick appearing anyway, but it would be cool to see him.

Obviously never even heard that quote, so it's completely lost on me.

And shit son! That mother fucker looks crisp as fuck! It's fantastic to see these old semi-forgotten characters being redrawn. He was called Douche Bag on the pre-TFS movies, by the way.

I'm happy we are finally getting these guys and hope we'll get the Four Monarchs too. Yakon is one guy, the Four Monarchs are a full team featured in their own arc, not so easily ignored I believe.

That's exactly why I felt for it, because I've only seen the FUNi dub once, and that was 5 years ago.

Too bad we haven't got a crazy fantasy character in a while like we did with Bebi Janemba.

Actually, I really don't care about the Monarchs from the TV filler, they were pretty lame. But hell yeah, Movie 1 villains, come here!

Yeah! The name "Ginger" was reused during the Imperfect Cell Saga, when Cell regains his lost energy by absorbing the inhabitants of Gingertown.
Go home, DB wikia! You're drunk! :wtf:

Shit, for a moment there I thought that was a Ginger-Garlic Jnr fusion.

I'm glad it's just Ginger, we don't want to get too lulzy with the what-ifs.

Well, at least that's based on something, now this:
Ginger is the leader of Garlic Jr.'s original trio of henchmen in Dragon Ball Z: Dead Zone. It is assumed that Ginger was originally a follower of Garlic, and along with Nicky and Sansho, he cared for and raised Garlic Jr. following the entrapment of the boy's father at the hands of Kami.
Is based on what exactly? I never got the feeling that he was the leader, at all. At best I got the feeling Nicky was the leader but even then, it was simply a feeling, which means nothing at all and is based on absolutely no facts.
Also, "is is assumed", really? First time I'm hearing this shit.

Anyway, gotta be on topic, yadda yadda, love these guys, great to see them redesigned, can't wait to see the rest of them :D
What if we actually get papa Garlic as the secret? That would be awesome... It doesn't even take that much of creative juice, all you gotta do is grab Garlic Junior and make him adult sized. Presto! Colour me happy.
