@worldmonsters Gohan's "rage boosts" have always been unique to Gohan, and attributed to his hybrid nature causing him to have hidden powers that were awakened by his anger. Vegeta isn't a hybrid, so it doesn't make sense for him to power up like Gohan does. Characters don't just get stronger from being angry, and it's never explicitly happened to anyone but Gohan.

@DBZGTKOSDH There's no reason he needs to let Boo live, though. The responsible thing to do would be to kill Boo, then teach the boys fusion. I wish it wasn't so but it was really irresponsible of him to leave Boo alive if he was really able to kill him. He's taking way too huge a gamble by letting Boo live, especially because if the boys fail he can't come in to take care of things.

I feel like at the end of the day, no matter how Goku chose to do things, they woulda ended up at the same spot anyways... Buu is just a wacked up deformed monster that could regenerate from mist, so despite Goku's confidence he could have beaten Buu the first time, he probably didn't have the power to completely vaporize Buu like the Spirit Bomb did, nor would Gohan have been able to against Super Buu.

Well Gohan completely outclassed Super Buu. I'm sure Super Buu would of started losing power once Gohan really decided to finish him off, kind of like how Fat Buu was running out of power when he was getting kicked around by Kid Buu.

Noticed in the last video that Gohan when Bills going to stop him flying ribbons drawn on his belt, as if the Son Gokuu old suit? ... After that scene, the suit of Son Gohan returns to normal.

I for one, am eager to see SSJG in the Dragon Ball Heroes manga. But, in a universe where you have SSJ3 Gogeta and SSJ4 Goku on your side, what do you need SSJG for?

I also just realized this new screenshot gives us a good look at Goku's slimmer ssjg arms. They are noticeably skinnier, but not as much as I had imagined.

EDIT: Nevermind that "not as much" comment, I just noticed how huge his wrist-bands look on him compared to shots of base form Goku. O_O

Toei's Fresh Pretty Cure's power-up phrase is "Let's Precure!", so there's precedent for "Let's god!!" if that is an actual transformation sequence start-phrase. I feel like it's probably just the name of the news article though (even if I want it to be otherwise just to complete the unsaiyajin-ness of everything related to ssjg. All he's missing is magical clothes. X3 )

That was the first thing I looked for. I wonder what the reason is for Goku to get more of an athletic build, that is, if there even is a reason.


@Naughty Kinto un I guess I'll think about it, I usually keep the stuff I buy sealed, but I don't know if I would with this watch. I think I might be leaning towards not buying it now, I could buy so much DB stuff with that sort of money, you're right.

The only in-universe reason I can think of is: Beers and Uisu are really strong, but both have super-slim limbs, Freeza's 4th form is slimmer than his earlier ones. Same with Cell and Buu (though Buu's kind of an odd case) so maybe slimmer means power and that's why Goku's ssjg form is like that?
Maybe it's like, all that power is so concentrated that it's more efficient and effective to have a sleeker and less bulky body?

Mmm. Them new scans look amazing. I've had a few friends who are disappointed with the new SSJG form's appearance but I really like it.

Right now I think what I'm interested the most is Bills. How was he as a character and a villain compared to say Freeza and the rest? From what I have gathered so far , he does seem to resemble Freeza quite a bit, what with his posture and the polite speech he is using.

@Chuquita Freeza was slim in his first form, but his full power form was massive, Cell's imperfect form seemed skinnier than his perfect form, and Boo was just odd.

I think it's just going to come down to it being the way Toriyama draws his characters now.
