For consistency, that kinda sucks unless they end up re-scoring the series yet again, but I doubt it, and kinda hope they don't so I don't need to repurchase it again.

So, I'm guessing they imply better music placement? I recall that was considered an issue even back when Yamamoto's score was used.

Bah, yeah, I don't know what I was thinking. Although, I'm not so sure the selection will be any different. I'd hope that it would be but considering the general practice of Dragon Ball Kai up until now has been to use crew members with little skill I'm a bit skeptical.

That being said, since new music is being produced, I'd hope Tanimoto returns for a new ending and insert songs. There's so much extra fight footage for Gokuu versus Majin Vegeta I feel like that'd be a great chance to do something special. Or give Super Saiyan 3 one, too.

New score for the Majin Boo saga is all good.
But about the opening and ending, don't you guys think they won't bother to have anyone perform a new song when they just got recently two new songs for the movie? Yeah, since they've got them ready, I wouldn't be surprised if they just went:
- Opening: Cha-La Head-Cha-La by Flow.
- Ending: Hero (Song of Hope) by Flow.

Plus, they'll have the excuse that those theme songs are the "Majin Boo Saga songs", hence their use on Battle of Gods as well.
Why would they bother to pay someone to make new songs and someone to sing them when they've got all of it already done?
We'll see. I'm hoping for new songs for the opening and ending and even insert songs along the way (the more new songs about DB we have, the better), but if it's the movie's songs, I'll find it good too.

For the sake of familiarity, Buu arc Kai should really stick with "Dragon Soul" for the opening song as per the previous episodes, just with updated characters and animation of course. Ending song is up for grabs. I would really like something new rather than using existing music. As much as I like FLOW's Hero and Cha-la-Head-Cha-la, I thinks those songs should be BoG movie exclusive.

Of course, knowing that this is a budgetary releases for international audiences, I wouldn't be surprised if they used existing music for the ending song. If that were the case though, I think JSAT's "Orange Hero" is my number 1 choice! Besides if that were to be used, maybe we might actually get a long awaited full version of the song

I'll personally be dissapointed if they don't use Kikuchi, they just need MORE KIKUCHI! My fav Kikuchi music is movie 6 though so I love the way it is, little repetitive though.
