Actually...this gives me an awesome thought, but also a question. First, if Trunks and Mai become an item, then...the Pilaf gang could very easily be added to the overall group of Goku's friends and family. I love this idea for some reason.

Could this potentially tie into DBO, where Mai-a-likes are usually seen around Capsule Corp facilities? =PP

Bwah?! They are? Okay, that's it. I declare them as an item to be in my new personal canon. Though that leaves the whole Pilaf's descendant causing trouble thing still, doesn't it? Be interesting to see something explaining how he ended up going back to Pilaf's roots rather than where he ends up, assuming my theory holds up anyway.

And on the whole 'Super Saiyan God is stronger than Vegito' thing, I don't really find it that odd myself - in a way, that is. For Goku, who presumably hasn't gotten much stronger since Boo's defeat compared to when this movie takes place, it's a bit of a leap. But I see nothing wrong with the idea that Goku and Vegeta, who are constantly training, would eventually surpass the power of the Vegito that we saw in the Boo arc. This just means that, should they then fuse into him again, that the Vegito they'd make at that point would be even stronger still.

Also, can't wait to see what's in this new promo once it's somewhere other than iTunes!

No, being dark doesn't mean it needs to have an embarrassingly contrived plot like that fan animation. BoG could very well have been made with a darker tone and I'm sure people would still praise it for its plot and action, even if some elements of the SSG transformation are pretty poorly written.

Sweet, thanks. Still can't wait to see the promo itself, but these'll tide me over for now. I'm loving the look of the re-animated Freeza parts, but I'm loving Bils' attire even more.

Chuquita, are you sure that's actually from the movie's guide magazine?
From the things above and on the side of the pages it looks like just a regular magazine (actually it looks like smaller pages in the middle of bigger pages).

I really like that concept version of the poster, especially the inclusion of characters like Chaozu and #18. As for Mai and Trunks... yeah, I'm really not liking that. Trunks making it up and bragging to Goten about it for the sake of bragging is great, but anything more serious than that is just weird.

So now that it's 3/20, has anyone tried buying those MP3s of the movie's vocal songs that the official site mentioned? I don't like the songs enough to want to import the whole CD single, but I certainly wouldn't mind dropping a few bucks for a digital version.
