If Vegeta had a tail on Namek.
I've always wondered why his tail didn't grow back especially after getting beaten down so many times; well, let's assume he did and could create false moons; do you think he'd be able to transform and steam role through Zarbon and the Ginyuu Force? How do you think the rest of the saga would progress?

It definitely would have been entertaining seeing a giant Great Ape pounding away at the Ginyu Force, it makes me ROFL just thinking about it

If he did rampage like that, he probably would have drawn too much attention at once and gotten blown away by Freeza. I mean, how in the hell could he hide from scouters, let alone eyes? Can Oozaru' supress Ki?

Let's say he didn't transform, then, until he started losing to Monster Zarbon, who was isolated, and then, if he managed to kill him, would be able to transform back to base form/ destroy the false moon and re-mask his ki.

I would figure Vegeta in Oozaru form would be able to suppress his ki, since Vegeta himself retains consciousness after transforming and all. Though he wouldn't really use the form against Zarbon, even factoring that there was no scouters at the time to give him away. Their first match, Zarbon plain wouldn't allow him the chance after transforming (when Vegeta would need it most) due to the beating being that savage and in their second bout Vegeta was able to pull off the win anyways so it wouldn't be needed.
Against Recoome and, if he got the same power boost then, later Freeza (in his first form at least), he should certainly be strong enough to handle them but then you get the issue of whether he'd be able to manage the transformation or not. Though considering Freeza and the Ginyus would know well enough of the transformation and its capabilities as well, they'd probably know well enough to chop the tail off or try and detonate the fake moon even if he did manage to transform, rendering the effort null and void (and probably leaving Vegeta in a worse state, since creating the fake moon apparently drops his power some).
