It seems like Kuririn is going to lose, especially when taking into account that a SSJ 3 Goku was needed to be able defeat Hildegarn.
I don't see how Kuririn could have become that strong.
I just hope that we see a golden Pervy Hermit moment with Kuririn before he is gone. :P

But I have to say that from the last page, I dig the new art style. It seems so fluent.

Maybe if Krillin takes out Tapion it will drive Hildegarn back into him, thus winning. I'm calling it.

I don't think Kuririn should win here. The winner of this match has to fight Cell, and Kuririn wouldn't achieve anything there. I'd like for Tapion to defeat Kuririn and Cell, and then lose to Vegeta.

I don't care who wins. I'm just predicting a possible flaw in Tapions strategy. If he is knocked unconscious or killed while Hildegarn is tied to him, Krillin should win. According to Salagir he has Tapion weaker then Raditz, so Krillin has to just get around Hildegarn and he could win. And considering how the Ghost warriors of the weak Saiyans were able to get around Hildegarn, Krillin should be able to bypass him and reach Tapion . I think Krillin will win if he can get to Tapion. Then Krillin could have dialogue with Evil Goku.

I know it's a long shot, but I'm actually hoping Kuririn will win. I feel like I'd get more out of seeing him in action than I would more of Tapion. Either one is probably going to get killed by Cell in the next round though.

Oh my God! Can anyone create a decent Dragon Ball fan animation that isn't complete crap?! Okay I'm being mean, I'm just getting frustrated with these DB fan animated shorts that are either poorly written and/or poorly drawn and animated. I see the effort put into these but they're terrible. I'm not much of an animator but I'm currently creating my own very short project and I know it can be difficult to make a well made animation but you have to know how to draw well amongst other things.

I think it's okay for a animated project. I can admit the voices take some time to get used too. I will look forward to episode 3 and see how far they animated the rest of the DBM comic.

I think they should have just left it as a comic.

Whoever gonna win, it looks like Cell have small chance to achieve his goal to get stronger before his possible fight with Vegetto, unless he provoke someone to fight him betwen tournament fights, with can happen, seeing how ignorant these Vargas guys are.

I'm convinced Vegetto is going to lose his next fight. There are just too many breadcrumbs laid out for me to assume otherwise. But I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Have you seen episode one? Have you seen it?
Oh my god, it is even more awful!

Krillin is pretty clever. He should figure out that KOing Tapion is his priority. Another option would be to destroy Tapion's bracelet. That might allow Hirudegarn to run amok disqualifying Tapion in the process.

The art, it is wonderful
My favourite art style (and animation) outside Toriyama who worked on Dragon Ball: Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru, Masaki Satō, Minoru Maeda, Takeo Ide, Hisashi Eguchi, Katsumi Aoshima, Tomekichi Takeuchi, Masahiro Shimanuki, Kazuya Hisada

Really? The last panel looks like it was quickly half-drawn in Photoshop with simple default (= ugly) brushes. Look at Hildegarn's fire breath.

Honestly, it looks a tad more stylized now, rather than a simple rehash of the Toriyama art style. Granted, it still looks a lot like the Toriyama style, but it's different enough to have it's own look, as opposed to Gogeta Jr.'s.

If Kuririn doesn't figure out some crafty way to neutralize Hildegarn or target Tapion, or something... then I hope he's smart enough to forfeit rather than get brutally killed.
