Question regarding Kai

Discussion specifically regarding the "refreshed" TV version of DBZ created in Japan for its 20th anniversary, including individual threads for each episode.

Is it true that there is a license agreement in Japan, that all future Dragon Ball related products must have the suffix "Kai" added to their titles ?

Did you hear this from YouTube?

Dragon Ball items are currently with "Battle of Gods" franchise, but Kei17 (or some other Japanese resident) can clear it up.

It's quite the opposite. More and more products that USED to have "Kai" in their title are totally dropping it. Some of the only leftovers are things like the "Dragon Ball Kai" portion of the "Miracle Battle Carddass" series, and like all the other merchandise, it includes things far beyond what "Kai" encapsulated (like, say, "Battle of Gods").
