Well, I was kinda horrified to hear Chris Ayres, who was a MAN finally, but he sounded a lot like the original Z actress.....
After interviews I read, where they said, that he was sinister souding..... Yeah, guy sounding like Linda Young is definitely sinister
But nitpicking aside, you simply can't get actor who sounds like Ryusei Nakao.

Cool. Though big heads and skinny legs everywhere! Toriyama trying to superimpose his new style on these characters looks most akward on Vegeta, it just doesn't work with that muscle definition still there. Love that Vegeta is holding the wine like he's Birusu's servant.

Is this the purple haired android 18?

Yup, seems like it!

Also, Videl looks way too young there. She's not THAT short! She looks like Gohan's kid or something!

I have to agree, I can't really get used to his new style, especially when it comes to Dragon Ball. I am a nitpicker when it comes to art, unfortunately

Everybody looks way to short and skinny IMO, so compared to that I think they look better in the movie.
I'm really curious about how people will react to Vegeta's behaviour in this movie. It's a huge step for his character that he is willing to put his pride aside and bear with something that he most likely considers incredibly humiliating fot the sake of the earth. That he listens to King Kai and tries deal with the situation with something other than force.
Will people think it's character development or him being OOC?

And I do truly mean this in the nicest way: you could always buy the book

@Avenged : Hahaha

As expected from the webmaster of dblegends who watermarks ALL the Battle of gods trailers with the name of his website... But when it concerns your watermarked video, it's not a problem anymore right ?

I don't actually, those are called notes, they are not even on the videos themselves. Now, if you're going to troll I suggest going back to the French sites. And VegettoEX you're right.

Re: Scans on Facebook
Full shot of ssj Goku - SO cute. *_* The irises really are that big! Still liking the flame aura, pink hair, and now it's got little spheres of light in the aura too!
Toriyama's new art style - Does take some getting used to; though it's not the lack of muscle definition that bothers me as much as the fact that some of the heads look wide (or maybe it's just the placement of the eyes). On the drawing lineup this would be Yamcha Chi-Chi and Goten.
EDIT: Also, mystery of green!Pilaf solved! It was a Toriyama-error and that's why WCF Pilaf is green.

It's actually pretty cheap. After shipping, I paid just under 14 bucks at CDJapan.

So you're telling me... "notes on a video" is not watermarking ?

You're so cute.
@Chuquita : Actually I like the way Toriyama draw skin muscles. This became too much with Broly and SSJ4. Now, Goku has a great look.

Now that I know that it's under 14 with shipping at CD Japan, I might actually go make an account and buy it there rather than wait for Kinokuniya to list the book like I'd originally planned.

The "notes" are not embedded on the video themselves. So if someone decides to download the video, my website's name would
not be on the video. But it's ok if you do not understand this. Plus it's only on a couple vids

and all I did was request images that were not watermarked with your logo and you attack me.

Let's not have this attitude, please. It's not anyone else's fault if you don't know how YouTube annotations work.

I'm just telling that this (
http://bit.ly/15As7pl) is watermarking. Permanent or not, this is watermarking.

While the script of the movie is written by Takao Koyama, the original draft of the story is written by Akira Toriyama, and there is also a 2-part manga adaptation by Naho Ooishi (with Toriyama commenting it as the last manga we are going to see, though we saw the 3-part Episode of Bardock from Ooishi). And now, Tarble was mentioned on Battle of Gods, and Toriyama wrote the story of it (but not the script), and it's officially considered a Toriyama work.
Personally, I do consider the JSAT manga adaptation manga-canon (since there is not an official canon for Dragon Ball), but what you decide is up to you.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.
