For your information, the scene originally was to have no music or a completely different track. That sad piece is named M1623 (M = music, 1600 = the score for DBZ movie 9, 23 = the 23rd track in the movie), and there's M1624 which was not used in the movie. Maybe it's the track that they first planned to use. But since there are many tracks in the M1600s which seem irrelevant to the movie and to have been composed rather for the TV series, maybe it's that M1624 is irrelevant and the scene originally was meant to be silent, and then they decided to add music later.TheRed259 wrote:Nevertheless , they could have avoided using the same track twice .
What's with this music placement?

That is my favorite piece in the entirety of DBZ BGM and I love that placement. You spit upon my heart.TheRed259 wrote:Similar occasion : http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... wkI#t=216s
Re: Original post,
I agree that the placement starts out weird, but it fleshes out really nicely when Gohan and Goku start talking. Overall I'm satisfied with the scene's presentation.
