Where can I buy Brand New/New Daizenshuu?
Where can I buy Brand New/New Daizenshuu?
I have been looking on eBay for a long time now and I can't seem to find any trustful ''New'' condition Daizenshuu (Daizenshuu 7, to be exact).
So I would appreciate it if someone could reccommend me a trustworthy importing site which sells New Daizenshuu. Thanks.

You're not really going to find many in "new" condition. We're talking about books that have been out-of-print for about 17 years.
Of course, that's the beauty of the in-process Chōzenshū line of books. Newer fans that didn't get a chance have... well... a chance! The fact that they're collecting pretty much all the old material with some new tidbits is really all you need at this point unless you want to get super-hardcore about your collecting, and even if you want to go that route, I say good-f'n-luck on that one!

Unfortunately, Viz won't translate them and release them.. I guess the money just isn't there for them to do such a thing.
Though.. didn't they actually do the one Daiz book? The illustrations one?

I bought my books in 2012, they are in good condition despite being used.

Really?! The same guy I'm thinking of buying it from. He's got a whole digital MALL on his eBay.
Anyway, thanks. Now I am certain to buy one from him!

I'm in the market myself for Daizenshuu 6 and 7 if anyone has a copy that's not getting much attention nowadays. Shoot me a PM if interested and we can work out a deal.

I see #6 at Book Off a lot. Forget how much it is, but it's less than ¥1000.Tyro wrote:I'm in the market myself for Daizenshuu 6 and 7 if anyone has a copy that's not getting much attention nowadays. Shoot me a PM if interested and we can work out a deal.

Depends, he sells them as single volumes and in a couple different packages. I had bought all 10 books for about ~$330, shipped. Not that bad when you consider typical markup; either on imported products being sold in the west or inflated shipping prices when bought directly from the east. Plus, the Extra/Supplemental volumes are usually more expensive in comparison to the first seven books. Unless you can find the originals for an absolute steal, from what I've seen, it's one of the better deals.

Hey, he's the same guy I got mine from! I'm pretty sure it's the same for most of Kanzenshuu aswell.TheDevilsCorpse wrote:Depends, he sells them as single volumes and in a couple different packages. Re: Where can I buy Brand New/New Daizenshuu?
I actually had a problem with that seller because he charged quite a bit over the normal price and the shipping was horrifying at the same time that other stores were selling the books for 1000+ yen less... and the worst thing was they were people buying them... I only wanted one book and I knew after that experience to never go his way again. Its like when people bought the Special selection dvd and put them on ebay for 50$, its scummy. The 330$ for all 10 isn't bad though.

What was bad is that Obi bars or Shenlong Times were not included except the first.
