About heights as drawn: they're often exaggerated, both up and down, depending on the character and the scene. I take the guidebook heights as how tall they're
supposed to be, without the distortion of size comparisons that exists in Toriyama's art style. If you have two very tall characters, two very short characters, or two averageish characters next to each other you can generally compare them pretty well, but characters in a different size range WILL be stretched up or scrunched down to make it more obvious. When he's trying to emphasize a height difference, the shorter character usually gets REALLY short (compare Vegeta later on to his appearance in the Saiyan Saga, where he's shrunk down to look especially tiny next to big ol' Nappa and even Goku, who actually wouldn't even be a full head taller than him.) And some, especially kids and goofier characters like Roshi, are always drawn super short compared to others despite their official heights (unless Roshi's height in the guides was meant for his bulked-up "max power" mode, then his apparent shortness compared to everyone when he's "normal size" makes more sense. XD)

I've never understood where the random hatred for Crocs comes from. Seriously, that's all I've ever heard about Crocs--that everyone hates them... for no apparent reason. I personally don't care one way or the other about Crocs or about shoes in general, but the idea that so many people can
hate a certain type of shoe so much that they constantly mock them every time they're seen or mentioned is just strange.
