Footage comes out on Sunday:
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

Who's developing this game? Spike?
I don't mind if it is as long as they make the game fun enough like Battle Stadium D.O.N was.
This screen screams awesomeness:

The last Jump character that I would love to see would be Arale. She was in both DS Jump games, so I guess there is a possibility for he to be in.
As for Dragon Ball characters, these are my predictions:
Goku (base, SS, SS3, SSG)
Ultimate Gohan
Gotenks (base, SS, SS3)
Vegeta (base, SS, SS2)
Piccolo
Kuririn (Cell arc)
Freeza (Final Form)
Cell (Perfect Form)
Majin Boo (Pure)
Beers

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Re: J-Stars Victory Vs. (JUMP crossover game) for PS3/Vita
Personally, I think that's two many characters for just one series' representation. I guess it depends on what the final number of series being added in this game is.
Also, if there's only one Gohan, sadly it will likely be the Cell Games version.

Well, I'd rather have only one character per series than lots of characters from few series. But I can understand why people have different opinions.

I'll interject and say that there's a possibility we might see Ultimate Gohan instead of Cell Games since the former was in BoG (and the new cross over special). I'll say everyone will be in Boo arc form, with the exception of the previous villains.

I'd hope not. The scans simply say "Namco Bandai" so it may be whomever was behind Zenkai Battle Royale.dbboxkaifan wrote:Who's developing this game? Spike?

I've been thinking about an Ultimate Gohan Super Saiyan, although Ultimate Gohan is already at his limit allowing him to go Super Saiyan would make him look cooler (blondy).Insertclevername wrote:I'll interject and say that there's a possibility we might see Ultimate Gohan instead of Cell Games since the former was in BoG (and the new cross over special). Bardock Super Saiyan too. I actually don't remember playing as BSS in Dragon Ball Z For Kinect because once I finished the story mode, I watched Episode of Bardock and never touched it again. Well, when I purchase it again I'll give him a chance.

Something I was thinking about:
If the game is released only in Japan, will non-Japanese people be able to play online or get DLC characters?

Good question on the online play thing, but I would assume it would just automatically connect to whatever server(s) it needs to based on the game, rather than your PSN account/ID.
As for DLC, you will have to create a Japanese account on PSN to get access to that stuff, and you'll likely need to find someone / a service to obtain a PSN points card to add funds to your account (since it won't directly take foreign credit cards). Play-Asia sells 'em, and digitally to boot.

I don't know if previous Jump crossover games had a story mode.
But if this one has a story mode, it could be an occasion to finally see a story that has Goku, Luffy and Naruto interacting with each other's universes and teaming up as the greatest team of heroes ever (we know it won't happen in an anime since Naruto is not owned by Toei).
Imagine a game with a story mode as deep as the Naruto games that would tell of a complete story arc with those three heroes (among others).

I think we'll probably see Bills and SSG Goku in this game to be honest. I would also suggest Future Trunks as he seems quite popular.
I'd imagine we'll see:
Goku
Vegeta
Gohan (Ultimate or Teen?)
Future Trunks
Piccolo
Cell
Freeza
Majin Buu (Fat Buu)
The issue is whether they'll allow transformations into this game. It'd work with some franchises but not others.

Yeah, I forgot to add Future Trunks in my list.

Re: J-Stars Victory Vs. (JUMP crossover game) for PS3/Vita
I don't think we'll see more than three characters from one franchise. There really isn't any reason to include so many heroes or villains from one series, let alone Dragon Ball. Simply having Gokuu, Vegeta, Beers, and maybe final form Freeza would be enough for Dragon Ball.
