How does Goku missing his best friend's wedding make more sense than not attending a close friend's birthday party? I'd say they're pretty even, with Krillin getting the slight edge.

This movie could've gotten real dark real fast if everyone had that evil spell put on them before Goku arrived. They'd have verbally and psychologically beat him down pretty good. I can see where the "what it means to be a hero" thing would have come in. That is an entirely different movie.

Aw, seeing the wedding could have been cool. Bulma's bday party is just not notable at all.

You know, a little part of me suspects that Toriyama is trolling us with SSJG. Instead of making him look stronger, he made him thinner with pink hair and pink "anime eyes". If someone would have proposed this as SSJG before it was done by Toriyama, they would have been laughed at.

Toriyama always does the opposite of expectations for the most part, he probably felt like it was too obvious to make him super decked out like SSJ3 so he went with skinny and chose a hair color few would probably have imagined.



A question for those who have seen the movie. Do they really pull off this ssj god thing or is it kind of lame?
