I enjoyed the LOG trilogy mainly for the quests, basic RPGness, attention to detail and adventuring, also optional sidequests. Mainly because it's not just fighting.

That's all fair and all but it does not make the games good. Attack of the Saiyans has everything you just described and is a much better game.

AOTS also had the most out of place secret boss I have ever seen. Also Goku's moves are so broken. After-Image and Kaioken=little to no hits. Give him full moon something (forgot what it was called) and he gets even more ridiculous.

Well, I had fun with the first one as a time waster and not much more, one thing's for sure, the games did not age well.

Also, Attack of the Saiyans is perfect for RPG newbies, the game is very forgiving. Give it a spin, I'm sure you'll love it.

I'm mainly talking about Legacy of Goku II, which was the best one and I think has aged well, LOGI is pretty dated and terrible but still somewhat enjoyable (for me anyway, lol), Buu's Fury is much better than LOGI but it felt half arsed in some areas and rushed. As a whole I still enjoy them but I'll have to give them a spin as to see if they still play well to be sure.
