I hate how these pages are only for European Facebook visitors only. The DBZ games biggest sellers outside of Japan is the US. The US should able to view and comment the page as we..

I hope not, unless they'd change the gameplay of it. Random luck on it and filled with cutscenes just didn't feel right.THEGOKU wrote:I wonder if it is a sequel to UT if it will be with a different gameplay style just the same graphics. Or even a next-gen announcement?
I liked Dragon Ball Z For Kinect, but it was too short like an arcade digital game.dbzfan7 wrote:My hope in dbz games dwindled after DBZ kinect. It's like they tried to make it suck.
Well, even if Americans had access unless you knew French you couldn't still read the announcements/comments made because they're in French and English. Japan expo is in France, NB seems to like French DB fans more so than the rest.Hellspawn28 wrote:I hate how these pages are only for European Facebook visitors only. Re: Bandai planning to "conquer the world"?
That "conquer the world" thing is intriguing.
I don't think it's a way to say "Dragon Ball games are ready to kick ass again and be amongst the best manga adaptation games again" or something. That kind of statement would be a bit shallow, all developers comment on their game as if it was one of the greatest game ever while they develop it.
I think it's rather related to the content of the game, which is why it's so intriguing. As said by Chuquita, it can't be a simple Battle of Gods adaptation since conquering the world has nothing to do with it.
Or it might be an expression implying "it was only in Japan, soon it will conquer the world", announcing some kind of international release if it's Zenkai Battle Royale for example.

Re: Bandai planning to "conquer the world"?
We haven't had a real new DBZ game since 2011. I hope they do something original with the story for once. I guess the plot of this game could have all of the villains teaming up to take over the world. It would be cool if this game was a real-time strategy game similar to Age of Mythology where you pick a side to help take over the world or save it.

They've already done things original and it didn't go so well.I think that they need to deliver a story mode like the Naruto series does. No db game that I've played as emulated the stories as well as the Naruto series. They should go from raditz to kid uub, include the movies,gt and what if's. They need to fill in the gaps and I think the physics system needs an overhaul. I hope they really took their time.....and tbh I hope Cyberconnect developed it.
Re: Bandai planning to "conquer the world"?
This looks interesting. Maybe they're doing something different for this year's annual Dragon Ball game?
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!
Re: Bandai planning to "conquer the world"?
Well Yeah had we actually been able to play the game and not do the pointless QTE's then it would have actually been a fun game. At least keep the health concept if it is something new so the battles last. Same said if it is a Zenkai port with the health.dbboxkaifan wrote:I hope not, unless they'd change the gameplay of it. Well, actually, many of the DB games sold better in the EU.Hellspawn28 wrote:I hate how these pages are only for European Facebook visitors only. The DBZ games biggest sellers outside of Japan is the US. The US should able to view and comment the page as we..
I believe the podcast mentioned this a few times.

Re: Bandai planning to "conquer the world"?
Damn it, just by saying that they got me hooked!
I hope it will be something worth-while. Also, I guess they realised that announcing the new game when they get to 100k likes wasn't going to happen anytime soon. If it does turn out to be a game that is...

Have you ever played Budokai 1 or Burst Limit? They're the two best DBZ games to represent the series in video game form.kbrooksgohan wrote:They've already done things original and it didn't go so well.I think that they need to deliver a story mode like the Naruto series does. Music is excepcionally brilliant, that is because both games' scores were composed by the same ex-producer, Kenji Yamamoto.
Ultimate Blast is really good but only for the 30min anime cutscenes and music, otherwise it shouldn't be bought.

Re: Bandai planning to "conquer the world"?
Burst Limit was fantastic! If they were to make a 2nd one I'd be happy enough. My biggest hope is that this is Zenkai Battle Royale, just under a different name. I doubt it though.
There's also the new 'J-Stars Victory VS', but again I doubt it's that.
