How did no one mention this guy? General Rilld, hands down. Anyone who's watched GT can tell that he made everything pre-Baby awesome everytime he showed up.
Nappa does come runner-up though. He did well.

Re: Who was the coolest henchman?
I kinda dig Rildo - not as such because of what he is but more along the lines of what he could have been.
He's stronger than Majin Buu, which at the time he pops up in GT makes him a properly formidable foe. It almost starts to get exciting! He's intelligent whilst not being totally insane or blandly subservient like the majority of henchmen and he's basically the embodiment of the power of an entire planet, like some kind of crazy liquid-metal Gaia.
But, as with pretty much everything GT, he's rather thoroughly lost in the poor execution.

I didn't read your post before I wrote mine, but I totally agree. Great minds think alike, eh?NeoKING wrote:How did no one mention this guy? General Rilld, hands down. Anyone who's watched GT can tell that he made everything pre-Baby awesome everytime he showed up.

Salza hand down. He had the French accent going on AND energy sword. This alone makes him the best henchman ever. Plus he was glorious killed by Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon, only a privileged few deserve that move.

I really liked that he had some type of camaraderie with the other machine mutants and I loved his Sigma form. He had potential but he is just kinda forgotten about towards the end of the arc and was pointless by the time he was killed. You almost forgot he was there. I was happy he was back in the Super 17 arc but he just growls.NeoKING wrote:How did no one mention this guy? General Rilld, hands down. I liked Bojack's crew. Zangya, Bido, Bujin & Gokua. Especially Gokua. Shame only Zangya got to make it in the games.
