Not much of a fan of the american score myself, but I appreciate every good piece, I love the Dragon theme and Time chamber music.
Gogeta's theme from the movies is also great!.

Re: The Coolest Faulconer Track?
It's an excellent track plus the length is a super bonus. It sucks when a song is too short when it is epic. Still one of the best songs ever made. I mean that.cRookie_Monster wrote:Lol, there's that burning pride and hatred at the same time again. Huge thanksand

Why not combine Faulconer with Kikuchi? Future Trunks' real theme

"Gohan Powers Up" is awesome. After that are "Vegeta-Super Saiyan" and "The Dragon Theme." Still get chills when I hear those two.

Re: The Coolest Faulconer Track?
Can anyone find a good quality version of this song? Nail Fight theme
Re: The Coolest Faulconer Track?
Most of the best choices have already been said. Vegeta - Super Saiyan still gives me chills . Gohan killing Cell is probably the most epic moment in Z IMO and part of that is due to this theme.
I do want to gives some love to the Ginyu Force theme.

Re: The Coolest Faulconer Track?
I've always digged Piccolo's theme. But there's so many wonderful, imaginative pieces of music that were produced for the American dub of Dragonball Z. I think that the score gets a lot of flack from people rather unfairly, but if I had to isolate a factor that brings it down in my eyes I'd say the overall production values. It's far too rushed and preset synthesised. It's kind of like Bruce was like "here's a few keyboards, go ahead and use these presets" as opposed to actually take a great deal of time in making interesting or richly textured sounds. I think that this has dated the score a great deal too.
I used to actually have a lot of time and respect for Faulconer. As like many still are, I was under the impression that the score was all his own work. I think my feelings towards how he treat and exploited young talented composers and continues to take credit for the work that they did should remain off this forum, as heck - you never know how many salacious legal personnel read these forums looking for revenue streams for fat, bloated, mustached and out-of-work composers!

It's been a long while since iv'e visited this site, lol. anyway, I'd have to say some of my favorite faulconer tracks are "Vegeta Kills 19" (unreleased)" - "Goku's Spirit Bomb" - "Cell Jr's theme " - "Goku Renewed" (Unreleased. It played after goku finished healing in the healing chamber on namek) - "SSJ Trunks [Full]" - and "Extended Guru" (Unreleased). Haha, most of my favorite tracks were never released on cd.

I've always loved this one. It made the battles in the Frieza saga feel so epic.

Overall favorite Faulconer track is nice but I wanted to hear people's views on one particular area of music.
Favorite Transformation/Powerup Themes?
I foresee a lot of SSJ3 nominations - and rightly so - but I adore Cell Powers Up.
