And that's a completely different case: calling Satan the strongest and whatever is deliberately false. Even the Yamcha example isn't really comparable to what we're discussing.

Please humor me with an in-depth answer on why that is any different than right now. In both cases, there's a statement made that one character is the strongest. In both cases, there are several situations shown that the statement is FALSE and there is another character stronger, and the obvious reaction is to go with the shown situations and not the statement.Saiga wrote:No, I'm not.Draken wrote:Yea you're totally arguing for the sake of arguing, whatever...Saiga wrote:But that wouldn't make it wrong, for the anime version.

Because Satan being the strongest is a joke, even in-universe. It's not at all comparable with Pure Boo being called the strongest on three different occasions, including by the Narrator, each time being completely serious.Draken wrote: Please humor me with an in-depth answer on why that is any different than right now. To many people, Pure Buu being called the strongest is a joke, even in-Toei-anime-universe, especially compared to the likes of Super Vegetto and Buuhan. Not a very in-depth explanation I must say, just your own viewpoint. Which is fine, to each his own. But still.Saiga wrote:Because Satan being the strongest is a joke, even in-universe. It's different to call something a joke for it be unlikely/absurd than for it to actually be a joke on the creators' part.Draken wrote:

Re: Buugetto
Imagine a situation where Yamcha gets an intense powerup against a new opponent who's weaker than previous opponents (buuhan vs pure buu). The saiyans are sleeping or some shit and Yamcha is MVP. The narrator and everyone is in shock of his new power and some state he is now the strongest. The other saiyans are no longer around (Buuhan is no longer around) so you can't compare them side by side. Yet you KNOW Yamcha is vastly inferior to any of the saiyans. What do you believe? Circumstances or the narrator?Saiga wrote:And every time, it's an actual joke.Draken wrote:

Sooooooo..... I think that "Buugetto" would be more than capable of soloing all of GT, up to Omega Shenron and SSJ4 Gogeta. If Buu's absorptions are addititive, then he would pretty much be Vegito with Buu powers, since there's such a huge gap in power between the two.

Re: Buugetto
Super Baby Vegeta 2 would probably stomp him. So would Syn Shenron. Actually, Baby Vegeta probably wouldn't even need to be super, considering he's somewhere far over Majin Buu x 400. That's assuming you can even kill Buu though... really I have no idea why that Spirit Bomb worked. The moment Super Buu regenerated from smoke after being blown up and having every single piece of his body disintegrated is the moment everyone should've just given up.
Actually, if Baby Vegeta's super modes work like regular Vegeta's super modes, then Super Saiyan 1 Baby Vegeta = far over Majin Buu x 400 (he beat down Super Saiyan 3 GT Goku, who had previously gotten a big power up, and said BEFORE that that the guy he fought evenly with in base was stronger than Majin Buu), Super Saiyan 2 Baby Vegeta = far over Majin Buu x 800, and Super Saiyan 3 (or whatever that last form before Golden Ape was) Baby Vegeta = far over Majin Buu x 3200. Even a fusion of Vegito and Gogeta from Z would get stomped.
If you want to make this even more of a spite thread, then Golden Great Ape Baby Vegeta would be the last Baby Vegeta x 10. Soooo max power Baby Vegeta = far over Majin Buu x 32,000.

Re: Buugetto
Form 1 Baby Vegeta beat down Super Saiyan 3 GT Goku, who had previously gotten a big power up. BEFORE said power up, Goku said that Rildo, a guy he fought evenly with in base, was stronger than Majin Buu. There's no real reason to doubt this claim either; GT base Goku backs up his claims that his base is really that haxxed several times, like when he one shots possessed versions of Goten and Gohan and toys with and crushes Super Perfect Cell. So Goku is far stronger than Majin Buu (probably Kid Buu) in base, and Super Saiyan 3 is a x400 multiplier. And Baby Vegeta form 1 is far stronger than that.If every character in Z combined their power levels somehow and multiplied them all by a thousand, he'd still crush them.

Ah. I personally try to make GT Goku as underpowered as I can, so I usually interpret that line as referring to Mr. Buu, (who happens to be the only living one,) who I have on the level of a SSJ2. But yeah, if you take that line like you did, I can see why you would consider Baby Vegeta to be stronger than Vegito.RandomGuy96 wrote:Form 1 Baby Vegeta beat down Super Saiyan 3 GT Goku, who had previously gotten a big power up. Re: Buugetto
Thanks to the overwhelming powers of GT, let´s see:
SSJ4 Kakarotto beyond his limits ( After the ritual, Kakarotto SSJ4 who fought VS the first Yi Xin Long ) is far far stronger than Vegetto.
Yi Xing Long fused with the others six Dragons is 10 times stronger than himself unfused.
Gogeta is a fusion between two SSJ4. If SSJ4 Gogeta had fun with that fused Yi Xing Long ( x10 stronger than before ), how much power SSJ4 Gogeta should have? For me, It´s too much.
Buugetto has nothing to do against Yi and much much less against SSJ4 Gogeta and maybe and equal match with SSJ4 Kakarotto beyond his limits.

Re: Buugetto
Even if it was just the SS2-tier Good Buu, Baby Vegeta would still be stronger than Vegito. I simply don't think that Vegito is over 32,000 times stronger than, say, Majin Vegeta. Baby Vegeta (Golden Ape) should be around Majin Buu x 40,000 at the least, since like I said his first form (which would be Majin Buu x 500 here) was noticeably stronger than SS3 Goku, who's Majin Buu x 400. Vegito's base was implied to be weaker than Buuhan, so Vegito's max should be Buuhan x 400... and again, I don't think Buuhan is a hundred times stronger than Good Buu.
Also, personally I never saw Good Buu as that weak, I saw him more on the level of the original Fat Buu; he has less Buu power, but in turn his Kaioshin power is not as neutered. I think this because he actually managed to put up a decent fight against the SS3-tier Kid Buu.
GT Power Levels are best measured in SS3 Gokus/Kid Buus. So should late Buu Saga ones. For example, in the Buu Saga, erring on the side of caution and making SS Gotenks stronger than Fat Buu:
SS3 Goku - 1 KB
SS Gotenks - 1 KB
SS3 Gotenks - 8 KB
Super Buu- 8 KB
Ultimate Gohan- 13 KB
Buutenks- 16 KB
Buuhan- 21 KB
Base Vegito- 20 KB
SS Vegito- 1000 KB
Hypothetical SS3 Vegito- 8000 KB
Now for GT, Baby Saga: I'm assuming that Goku is referring to the last Majin Buu he fought- the being that is Majin Buu himself, not Majin Buu + South Kaioshin, or Majin Buu + Dai Kaioshin. The statement comparing Rildo to Buu came from early in the series where Goku was explicitly much weaker, so just preface every number here with "much stronger than":
Base Goku- 1 KB
SS3 Goku- 400 KB
First Form Baby Vegeta- 500 KB
Second Form Baby Vegeta- 1000 KB
Third Form Baby Vegeta- 4000 KB
Golden Ape Baby Vegeta- 40,000 KB
SS4 Goku- 40,000 KB

He's nowhere close. Like I said, Baby Vegeta as a Golden Ape was at least Majin Buu (probably Kid or Good) x 40,000. SS4 Goku was even with him.Buugetto has nothing to do against Yi and much much less against SSJ4 Gogeta and maybe and equal match with SSJ4 Kakarotto beyond his limits.

Re: Buugetto
Well, as GT is a continuation of the anime, I take the anime filler of Base Vegito as valid for this. And this Vegito was still far beyond Buuhan. Also, Vegito would definitely have been able to transform into a Super Saiyan 2, and would most likely have been able to do SSJ3 as well. If "Buugetto" could tap into this power, I have no problem with him reaching obscene levels of strength.RandomGuy96 wrote:Even if it was just the SS2-tier Good Buu, Baby Vegeta would still be stronger than Vegito. As for Good Buu, I have him at the level that Buu displayed right after breaking out of his ball. The one that Gohan believed he might be able to defeat, and that Vegeta wasn't worried about. I think that he only lasted as long as he did against Pure Buu because of his regeneration and that Pure Buu was just playing around.

Re: Buugetto
If you take anime filler as valid, it's explicitly said that Kid Buu is stronger than Buuhan. Also, in the Buu's body filler:
SS Goku > Ultimate Gohan > SS3 Gotenks = Super Buu > Fat Buu > Majin Vegeta = SS2 Goku > SS Goku
SS Goku > Ultimate Gohan > SS3 Gotenks = Super Buu > Fat Buu > Majin Vegeta = SS2 Goku > SS Goku

Re: Buugetto
But unlike the rest of the filler, Base Vegito doesn't contradict itself (or the manga, for that matter.)RandomGuy96 wrote:If you take anime filler as valid, it's explicitly said that Kid Buu is stronger than Buuhan. Also, in the Buu's body filler:

I guess I'm picking and choosing here, but the stuff in Buu's body doesn't make sense, and Pure Buu being stronger than Super Buu is debatable. Even with the statements that are there, all of the implications are against it.
Regardless, even if Pure Buu were stronger than Super Buu, it wouldn't make any difference in the Buugeto vs Baby arguement. It would just make Goku an idiot for choosing a permanent fusion when he could have just stomped Buu himself.
