This is a mix of the new animation, Kai dub voices and the original Japanese Z BGM for the scene.

I did alter Goku's scream a little, I doubled it and made the second one deeper but that was to attempt mimicking the "Oozaru" effect.

Kai should have been re-animated. I was trying to show my little brother and some of my younger cousins DBZ Kai, and they just complained about how old and bad it looked. Kids love this new animation.

Nothing wrong with old animation, but DBZ didn't always get the best animation. I like the new style, but I would never expect to Toei to actually put effort in, haha. I wouldn't watch Kai if it weren't for the pace and the new dub.

Kids love new everything, and it's annoying. When I was a kid, I was playing games, watching movies, and listening to music made over a decade before I was born, and enjoyed them.

I'd like to think that made me a more open minded person in the long run. I'll never understand so many kids' "newer is always better no matter what" mindset.

Also, I really hate the newer Dragon Ball animation. I watched all of the Ultimate Tenkaichi cutscenes, and the animation looked really stiff, jumpy, shiny and overall lifeless compared to the original animation. Perhaps it was only better than Studio Live and later Last House stuff.

From what little I've seen, maybe Battle of Gods has better animation at least, but I still hate the style.

I'm the same Metawario, as a kid I'd watch anything I liked, the way it looked didn't change my view on it. I blame the PS3, 360, and all this CGI. I just remember playing on my Sega Mega Drive for years and thinking the graphics were amazing! I'm the same now, I listen to old music, new music, watch old shows, new shows, I just don't care as long as I like it. Kids are spoiled now.

Well anyway, Toei should have re-animated DBZ to get kids really interested IMO, it probably would have helped the show too, and I wouldn't mind it either. I love old animation and new animation as long as they're both done well.
