Namco Bandai wouldn't localize an MMO. I don't believe any of their western divisions have the kind of network infrastructure to handle the load.
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

DBO doesn't require a super-PC.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

^ This.

Even by the standards of when the game was developed (5 years ago) it's not a resource-hogging game.

It just uses a really badly written game engine.

The Europe continent is filled with Dragon Ball fans all over it, however, it only has 86k likes they either don't care or not interested signing up for FaceBook to even just leave a like.

A thing like this should've been accomplished within a couple hours considering it's a freaking continent not a country.

Well if people don't know about it they can't do much. I don't get why Saiyan Island haven't posted anything about this yet, they usually jump on this stuff. I just wish some sites would post something about it.

If Namco Bandai posted a video on YouTube asking Europe-based Dragon Ball fans and whatnot to go and give it a like on FaceBook, they'd probably do and we'd reach 100k quicker.

That's a really good idea, it's a shame they haven't thought of that.

I think you need to do more research on this subject. No offense but you couldn't be more off base. Piracy and overall lack of quality for some PC ports are the two main reasons why those versions don't do as well as their 360 or PS3 counterparts. But you only have to look at the Steam community, Blizzard and the indie market to see that there are plenty of PC gamers. On that note however.

This. This was one of the main reason I highly doubt that's a PC box...aside from Games for Windows Live being pretty much dead. Even if they did have the resources breaking into the MMO market is going to be a very hard thing to do. With WoW, GW2 and SWtOR taking up most of the pie as well as a new Elder Scrolls MMO on the horizon. Launching this now would be a bad move financially for Namco-Bnadi's Part. I'd expect a 360/PS3 launch again. These games come out October/November which sounds like it's going to be too soon for the PS4.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

It'd be great if they could open the page up to other countries. That'd boost their likes as well.

I'd like to think they have some plan to earn likes faster and just haven't put it into action yet because they don't want to reveal information this early.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

Geez, by the time they get in the 90,000's, Namco Bandai would have probably announced the damn thing.

It really is always them fighting. Maybe this time things will change and Gohan will be there. Or maybe something Battle Of Gods related cause of hype.
Wouldn't it be hilarious if the 1st scan is SSJ4 Goku and SSJ4 Vegeta fighting and it was for Raging Blast 3? At least, that's how I always envisioned the first scan of RB3 to look like....

I've sent a message over on YouTube to a few people I'm subscribed to who post Dragon Ball videos and whatnot, so hopefully they'll read it and help out by sharing the information.

If AngryJoeShow posted a video asking his viewers/fans from Europe to go to FaceBook and like the page we'd reach it a lot quicker. :P

They should change it to 90,000 likes to announce the new DBZ game. It would be easier and Bandai Namco would most likely announce the official game by the time they reach 100,000 likes.

They may get 90k in a couple more days if they keep getting likes at the pace they are now. I doubt it'll stay at this pace though. 87,131 now. :)

Now that the word is out we'll see more likes within less time, hopefully some boost to 100k without taking too many weeks or months to know what Namco Bandai's on about.
