Not a huge amount of footage from the film, not particularly well edited either, but a fun watch nonetheless.

That was a fun watch, and there were some new clips in there (though the DB Men's Choir at 1:23 is still too unintentionally funny to me when it should not be funny at all because it's supposed to be a serious moment. >_< ). It's Piccolo's complete lack of fear (everyone else looks terrified, Piccolo's not scared at all and looks like he's phoning it in) that ruins it most for me.

They really meant it when they said you have to go to the theaters to see Goku's ssjg form; there isn't a drop of it in this music video. >_O
I was hoping there'd be a quick shot of it because lack of hd ssjg Goku screenshots, but I understand why there isn't. >_>

Box Office Update.

Rentrak has the movie at making $2.8 million for the weekend and $23.8 million total.

Thats around a 36% drop which is roughly the same as last weekends drop. It didn't seem to have done a lot in the week though at all (only $2.3 million compared to the previous weeks $7.3 million) I was hoping for at least $25 million.

However when BOM update the numbers properly it could end up being a little higher as it was the previous weeks (about $300k higher).

In Yen $23.8 million is 2.34 billion Yen

Actually, in that scene at 1:23 it really does appear as if they're all singing along to the lyrics, because their mouths are moving at the same time.
And yes, I know what you mean about Piccolo, it caught me off guard as well. Even Vegeta's expression doesn't entirely match up.

And wow, it looks like Vegeta got punched hard in the face by Beers, yet he managed to counter it. He was really pissed off, wasn't he?

Well, all the kids are back in school now, so they can't really go out on weekdays like they did the week before that. At the moment, it's pretty much weekends or nothing.

I have a feeling that earnings will slow to a more-or-less steady trickle until the Golden Week holiday period, when things pick up again.

So, I'll be damned. From what I've heard about the plot so far, does the movie actually, well and truly contradict GT? I really thought they'd play it safe, but:

As far as I know, Pilaf & co. don't change back. However, it's very plausible (as far as fan theories go) that they later wished themselves to be older, only to find out that they were being too vague and end up being the age they were in GT.

If I'm not mistaken, Super Saiyan God is something Gokuu can do whenever he wants (need a confirmation on that though). So...yeah....there are many times when he could have pulled that out in GT...then again you can say that about any transformation in GT.
