Does teleportation use (any / a lot of) ki?

If Goku was severely injured, would he still be able to teleport? Kibitoshin's version seems to be unable to be used if he is low on ki, but is Goku ever shown to be unable to teleport due to being weakened?

I thought in GT it was due to his younger body not being able to utilize his ki as well as his older one? Admittedly, I haven't seen GT in years, and didn't really pay much attention to it when I did watch it

No I think he was just out of energy, he was a SSJ4 at the time after all, then dropped back down to base due to being out of energy and being unable to use IT.

I actually went over GT again a few weeks ago. Yeah, the episode where Goku was teleporting everyone to the new Planet Vegeta, he ran out of power. He was a SSJ4 and reverted to his base kid state cause he was tapped out. If Piccolo didn't "loan" Goku some energy, he would have been stuck on Earth when it exploded.

Though it's not the same technique (thus it may not follow the same rules as far as ki requirements), Kaioushin's Kai Kai requires ki, since he wasn't able to bring Dende to Kaioushin's planet to restore Goku's strength after donating Genki to the Genki Dama.

Chapter: 516 (DBZ 322), P9.1
Context: Dende asks Kaioshin to teleport him to go heal Goku
Kaioshin: “So-sorry…I used up my stamina just now [when he contributed to the Genki-Dama]…Until I recover, I can’t teleport…”

Why wouldn't it? Every technique uses Ki unless it's a magic technique.

Well, the title is kind of misleading I guess. What I was thinking when I made the thread is "does it use much ki?"
