Brian Drummond will be at the fan expo (I think that is what it is called) On Saturday from 2-6. He'll be there Sunday too but not as long as Saturday. I do not remember how long he said he would be there :/
Anyway, he hopes the the NDA will end before that time cause he knows during panelling sessions and autograph sessions that he'll be asked. Also, it would be great exposure for the dub by then. So here's hoping the NDA ends.
In addition to that, he told me that this Kai dub is extremely odd because normally when they work on a show, it is coming out at the same time they are dubbing it. Who knows, maybe only one man created this dub just for himself!

But yeah, he doesn't know if it will be a DVD release (but we can assume it might be), because the FUNi dub is readily available in Canada and elsewhere! He is worried that without the good exposure that the dub needs, it will fail. He's not sure if this DVD is targeted towards a niche market so only those that want it will know about it, or it will be a TV only release, or that maybe many people want it. We'll see.
But the dub is for sure REAL. Will it ever be released and on what platform is the question.
