Probably the same way as the other characters' (like Naruto's tailed-forms and controlled modes, or Luffys Gear Second and Third [and Toriko's buff mode or whatever it is called). As transformations.

Holy shit, I could very possibly just be seeing what I want to see but that looks like Ichigo Kurosaki right above Goku's arm. I think I can make out his baggy kimono!

Apparently Yusuke Urameshi from YuYu Hakusho and Himura Kenshin from Rurouni Kenshin are leading the polls for new characters wanted in.
YuYu is personally my 2nd fav, behind DB obviously. I'd def. want a crossover between DBZ and YuYu.
Tim Duncan is dope and forever.

I sorta see it as well. What I want to know is who the guy to the left of Goku's elbow is. I know I've seen that silhouette, but I can't place it.

The silhouette in the middle looks a little like Ryo Saeba, from City Hunter.

The silhouette right next to what is maybe Ichigo and Goku's elbow... could it possibly be Toriko again? Just to have another silhouette there? The collar is very prominent on that guy, so my first thought was Kenshiro, but at the same time, it's kind of thin...

edit: Actually, now that I look at it close, it could be Jotaro Kujo. You'd think that would be an easy call with his signature hair/hat, but it does look like he's doing his normal pose with his hand in his pocket; looking at the arm .

That's who it looks like! Thank you. That had been bugging me. Now if only we could spot Gintoki Sakata & Train Heartnet...

Even if this may never get a stateside release...you can bet I'll play the crap out of a PSN demo until I have money raised to import!

I thought the exact same thing! I'll be honest, I was looking for him in the crowd, probably the only reason I saw it.

It'd require me to also make a Japanese PlayStation account, I've not yet made one but it shouldn't be complicated by following instructions or so.

I dunno why but I doubt we'll see a demo of this game.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

Nah, it's fairly easy and only takes maybe 5-10 minutes. Here's a guide.

For Goku & Vegeta they could include all transformations and whatnot for the same character than separated.

For Goku:
1) Normal
2) Super Saiyan 1
3) Super Saiyan 2
4) Super Saiyan 3
5) Super Saiyan 4
6) Super Saiyan God

For Vegeta:
1) Normal
2) Super Saiyan 1
3) Super Saiyan 2
4) Super Saiyan 3
5) Super Vegeta
6) Majin Vegeta

For Trunks:
1) Normal
2) Super Saiyan 1
3) Super Saiyan 3
4) Super Trunks

For Bardock:
1) Normal
2) Super Saiyan

There really isn't much point to feature Trunks and Bardock except we'd get to play as Super Saiyan 3 Trunks and Super Saiyan Bardock.

Oh yes, throw in some synthesised Kikuchi music in it please. :)

Somehow I don't think they're going to put all of Goku's transformations in. I think it'll be more like ZBR or SDBZ where he only has Super Saiyan.

I believe they will give him Super Saiyan 3 as well. And maybe Super Saiyan God as well, if they want to further promote the new movie.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

You realise they most likely wont include Animé forms like Super Saiyan 4 and Super Saiyan God, right? Same goes for SS3 Trunks. I imagine the same as others seem to and we'll see Super Saiyan forms but that's it.

Yeah, and Bardock probably won't be included too, since he appeared only in two panels of the manga.

A friend of mine told me over Skype. They were doing polls or something and those 2 were leading  . The timing couldn't have been better, since I'm re-reading/watching Rurouni Kenshin right now

I hope that thing about Yusuke and Kenshin topping the character polls is true, because I'd really like to see them in this game...that I'll probably never get to play...but hey, I can still be excited about it dammit! :P

Also still really hoping there's some kind of support character system like in past games, so that something Katsura can get some involvement for once, since I really don't see them reaching so far back into Jump history as to bring out Wingman.

Wingman wouldn't be too farfetched. Remember those figures that will be released to celebrate the anniversary of Shonen Jump? Wingman is among them.

Whoa, really? That's a shock. Maybe Wingman actually is pretty remembered in Japan then? It'd be cool to see him in the game, though half of the US fanbase following this game won't have any idea who he is heh.

On an off note, I'll have to keep an eye on those figures to see if any other Katsura titles get one. New I"s figure...*drools at the very idea*
