Buu's Forms and their Titles

In several guidebooks for the manga, anime, and video games gives the name of Majin Buu's forms in brackets, for example Fat Buu is listed as Majin Buu (Good) and while three I understand (Good, Pure Evil, and Evil), the one I don't get is Kid Buu or Majin Buu (Pure). The part I don't understand is the Pure part, while he's not basically Evil in his super form or skinny form, although he destroys several planets while trying to look for Goku and Vegeta, he doesn't hold back when tries to attack Mr. Satan, nearly kills Vegeta while he stalled him so Goku could return to his Super Saiyan 3 form, and even taunts Goku during their initial fight on the Supreme Kai's planet. Is the Pure part a philosophical type of thing or something else I might not be catching on.

The "pure" in "Kid Buu" is relating to the fact he is the original form of Buu, not denoting which way he leans morally. I like to call him "Genuine Buu" thanks to this handy guide.

"Pure Majin Boo" is also the actual chapter title for when that form of Boo debuts (Viz alters it a bit into "pure evil"). So it's the first term ever coined for that form.

Basically, yes. The "Pure" is just to indicate that he's untainted by any sort of impurities, in this case being Buu's absorptions.

Yep, he's "pure" in that he's 100% unaltered, genuine Majin Boo. Nothing more, nothing less.

The word 'pure' for the little Boo sounds right since he's the original, genuine and true form of all incarnations of Boo.
