Same. I remember how everyone doubted the possibility of it being a Dragon Ball film; thinking it was going to be One Piece related.

I forgot to mention that the movie is going be released in 2013 according to the rumor. But again, I highly doubt that it happens. If it really does, I'll eat my pants, wander around my city wearing Goku's dougi, and draw a doujinshi featuring DB girls.

Battle of Gods drop down to #8. The new movies in Japan this weekend was Iron Man 3 and Super Hero Taisen Z. Iron Man 3 was #2 in Japan (The last two Iron Man films seem to do pretty well in Japan from what I've seen) and Super Hero Taisen Z was #3. Both movies end up losing to Detective Conan on it's 2nd weekend .

Just saw the scene where Bils tells Goku that he's the 2nd toughest opponent he fought and Wiss is his teacher and also stronger than him. I got really surprised how touching that scene is. I was expecting some "BOOM" reaction there but it was said in a light hearted manner and I really like the feel. From what I saw, Goku and Bills seem to end up respecting each other And my will to watch the movie just got bigger again.

This movie definitely is special in some way. I'm glad I survived until now.

No it's at 2.7 according to Box Office Mojo.

It's got this last week to go, it is golden week so it should make quite a bit more this week than it did last week. I'm expecting it to finish with $31-32 million which is just around 3 billion yen so it is cutting it close.

It's not going to far exceed Toeis target but it might hopefully just about reach it.

thanks for the answer guys. I thought DBZ was being showing in may theatres when I saw the mumber but iron 3 is in 535, only in Japan ?!!
Dont know if its always like that since Its the first time I'm so deep in this subject so I'm surprised.

There is always DVD and Blu-Ray sales. I'm pretty sure Toei does get money off from home video sales.
