Dragon Boxes coming in, will keep up to date...

Post by IIMaxII » Fri May 03, 2013 4:05 pm

Hello. If you're not familiar with my previous thread please check here: http://www.kanzenshuu.com/forum/viewtop ... =7&t=23362

I received 1 & 4 today, I got a text message saying my order was shipped to Walmart(I purchased from multiple places) I believe I'll be able to pick up 3, 5, 6 and 7 this weekend...and HOPEFULLY! Amazon.ca will be able to honor my purchase and ship Dragon Box 2, its supposed to be shipped May 9th, I will keep this thread updated.

Well here they are:
The package arrived in excellent condition.

Fresh from the warehouse, doesn't look resealed or anything.

The Dragon Books are there as-well, I know a lot of people said that theirs did not come with dragon books.

That's cool, you definately made the right decision going with those, especially if amazon.ca can pull through. I hope for both you and me that they can...

The packaging of Amazon is a bit unsafe and cheap, compared to the one I got with the DBZ Kai Parts 3 & 4 (BD) which came in an actual proper box, but overall the Dragon Boxes seem to be in excellent condition without any damaged.

Dragon Box 2, that's where the attention's at. The price still hasn't increased but latecomers might not have the chance to own it at this price, anyway.

Great update, btw!

Really? All my seven Dragon Boxes came with the books, so I guess I got the early prints of each, or something. Never actually read any of the Dragon Books, though. :P
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

Here's hoping for them getting Dragon Box 2.

Yeah, I remember my kai coming in a proper box, but I can't complain it might also just be Amazon.ca probably.

Quick question does Amazon.ca ship to the U.S. because if so I might be in luck.
If anyone has any of the DB/DBZ/DBGT or Maho Tsuaki Sally Japanese single DVD's that they'd be interested in selling send me a PM and I'll see if we can work something out. ;).

Thanks for the fast reply placing my order for 2 copies of Dragon Box vol 2 (one to open and watch, color correct etc... and one to keep for the collection) one more question which site do I check out through do I pay through Amazon.ca or amazon.com? because on amazon.com they're not in my cart, but on amazon.ca they are (I've never ordered from amazon.ca so I need some guidance).

While Amazon accounts look to be universal across all versions of Amazon, the carts and listings are unique to each store so you will need to pay and check the status of your order on the cart which you placed your order. You will not be charged until the order has shipped, however.

I have not encountered any issues ordering DVDs from any of the Amazons, but marketplace sellers may only ship domestically, so that's one thing to watch out for.

Just finished placing my order and hopefully Amazon.ca will be able to deliver, I've been waiting for the right chance to get DBOX vol 2 for a while now and hopefully I didn't miss the window of opportunity, now if things go smoothly I can focus on getting the other volumes (I plan to have 2 of each volume one set to have open for use and the other set to stay sealed). :D

Well I know a few of us here managed to order ours several days ago, so hopefully amazon.ca have got a lot of stock and can fulfil all our orders. I would be gratefull enough for just one Box 2 because I don't see another opportunity like this coming along again.

Alrighty then! I picked up my package from Walmart and I now have 5, 6 and 7. Still waiting on 2 and 3. :)

The packaging wasn't as safe as Amazon.ca, but I can't complain since the boxes are factory sealed.

Amazon.ca still haven't given me an estimate date nor ask for any payment, so I'll just have to keep waiting. I'll be damn content if Amazon.ca provides me one Dragon Box 2 since my one is a bit crushed on the sides (outer box).

As for Dragon Box 3, perhaps within 1-2 weeks time I'll have it.

Why bring an conversation in PM to the topic if other folks can't understand what you are talking about? :P No offense meant...

Because I'm that kind of guy! JK...I'm a bit lazy but, On the back of the dragon boxes there's sometimes an odd gray spot, and it feels like something is packed in tight but it's not. Best way to describe it.

That looks like a piece of silicon (?) glue holding the piece of paper to the back of the box. You should be able to easily rub it off with your finger once you remove the paper.

Don't tell anyone, but I didn't know that the back was supposed to be removed. :P ;)

I don't recommend using your finger to rub silicon glue off of shrink wrapped items as you risk ripping the shrink wrap by accident, if you want to remove silicon glue without risking ripping the shrink wrap, lightly wet a paper towel with nail polish remover and gently rub the afflicted area.
