By the way, this Detective Conan movie is doing insanely well...better than Battle of Gods from what I can see. How often are movies for this series made and do they usually do this well?

From what little I know of how Detective Conan does in Japan, it's a pretty popular franchise and it's often in the top 10 highest viewed animated programs on TV in Japan. I enjoy the manga and the only reason I dropped it was because of the length. I can't commit the shelf space to something that long.

Yeah, I remember watching it on Adult Swim and enjoying it, and when I researched it on the internet I found out how long it was! Ain't got the time to commit to something like that.

I thought it was going to surpass 3 Billion Yen, so I'm a bit gutted. It isn't bad, and DB has always got that worldwide appeal to make up for it falling short.
