Why does DB: Revenge of King Piccolo have recycled music?

Post by dbboxkaifan » Tue May 07, 2013 10:54 am

The soundtrack of this game in an overall aspect is great, but unfortunately some of them were taken from Tenkaichi 3 score which I ask, why?!

Granted, they picked the good tracks from Tenkaichi 3 at least but would've been better if the game didn't really have any T3 music at all.

Remember (which I know that you already know) that it wasn't technically "recycled" music in Japan, since the Sparking! series had Kikuchi music.

I'm sure it's just that no-one gave a rat's ass about the music in the Wii game's international release. The cheaper, the better.

Ah, that makes sense thanks, Michael.

I've been listening to Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo (2009) GameRip Soundtrack and every single track was worth listening from start to finish. Even if the game isn't great, the soundtrack still makes up for it.

Yeah, the "recycled"-ish tracks from Tenkaichi 3 are in much higher quality.
