Infinite World's "God Mode" - Attack or Avoid?

I've been playing Infinite World and while it's a great game that I'd recommend over the other Budokai titles & Burst Limit, the 'God Mode' (turns blue and invincible for a limited time) in this game is just such a god damn cheap shot which the CPU keeps on re-using whenever possible. Is there a way to do in order to get a hit on them?

Maybe it's just me but I have been trying to attack them while they're in this special mode and my best choice was just keep on defending myself, but even that doesn't work really well because at some point it eventually breaks and the opponent toys around with me.

IW without this special mode could've been better.

I agree, they really shouldn't have had Aura Burst. My advice is to just keep dashing away from them. With zero-ki teleports it isn't advised to attack them as it's far too easy for them to counterattack. On the plus side, once it wears off, they've got no ki, and it's very easy to hit them with a death move right as they come out of the mode.

It's horrible, I agree. Thankfully, I doubt in any proper tournament it would be allowed.

Just keep dashing away from them and once it's gone get in a good cancel combo attack.

The Janemba fight in the story-mode drove me nuts with this, he kept using it...

Even though I play on Normal mode Freeza is still a pain to defeat but I'll eventually get there. Normal shouldn't be so hard.

As far as I remember, you gotta avoid the opponent, like others said. Or you could counter him by turning into Aura Mode.

It really isn't all that hard to deal with. Just dash back and avoid your opponent until it runs out, then you can destroy them while they have no ki to teleport. In competitive play it isn't used because it just wastes your ki and gives your opponent the advantage and high level players can always avoid it.

I thought this would work but I tried and it doesn't, I just have to dash away from the opponent whenever he's on this mode.
