Well with Kaioshin, he has the choice to run. In those situations, his actions were vital for success.

He knew that Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan were far stronger than him as well, but I don't see him running away from any of them. And like I said above, Kaioshin was asking him to fight. It seems to me that it would be more disrespectful to disobey the highest being in the universe than it would be to lay hands on him.

He was still frozen in fear against Freeza's final form and when Imperfect Cell powered up. Even though he reacted, it was out of desperation/necessity. Against Kaioshin, he can sense that he's way stronger and there is no reason for him to fight and lose face by getting his ass kicked.

I don't think losing face had anything to do with it. He was willing to fight Vegeta, who would have thrashed him.

We don't know he was willing to fight Vegeta. And it may not be about losing face, but he has no real reason to fight Kaioshin if he already knows he'll lose.

Well, he was willing to show up to a tournament where he knew there would be at least 3 people who were much stronger than him. Seeing as he, Gohan, Goku, and Vegeta were pretty much guaranteed to make it to the final 8, the odds were pretty good that he'd face at least one of them. I just don't see him quitting just because he'd lose.

That is what I thought. Kami respects the powers that be and when he merged with piccolo that respect became ingrained into his personality.

It could be stupid...or it could possibly be something different and 'fresh' to keep this from being the same thing we already saw in the Boo arc. I was a little disappointed that it looked like Gohan was going to fight Yakon since Pui Pui was taken down, but it could be a little more interesting to see something different happen here.

Another Hanassia could be a bit troubling (though I don't hate her as much as others do), but I was fine with Universe 16 Bra. It's kind of cool to see an actually alternate version of her, unlike the rest of the universe being carbon copies of their canon universe selves.

That's what had me worried when it seemed he was going to fight Yakon honestly. Yakon could possibly be stronger than this version of him, but I figured Gohan would be smart enough to figure out how to use his ability to eat light against him just like Goku did...which would be an incredibly boring copying of the original manga's gimmick here IMO, as well as leaving Gohan a lot more winded from it than Goku would be I'd think.

So, Yakon's big "brother" either come to take Yakon back to home by force to get his punishment from his family for leaving his planet with Babidi and Dabura or something, or probably kill his own brother, Yakon for some reason because Yakon seems scared with "Oh, crap!" face when he heard that voice from his "brother". If not, then he may team up with Yakon to fight Gohan together, Gohan probably won't have a chance to win because of their eating-light abilities unless Salagir makes Gohan "win" against them for no reason.

? No, I call bull shit if Gohan manages a victory against Yakon. Even if you believe Ssj Mirai Gohan holds the advantage in power, he can't stop Yakon from taking his energy.

Sure he can. Do a Goku vs Piccolo Daimao, and fly right through him without giving him a chance to start sucking up light. I doubt that's how he'll pull it off though.

K that still leaves the rest of us who think Yakon would crush Mirai Gohan in terms of raw power. Yakon is a little over 5x stronger IMO.
