I'd argue that gives more similarities since Solar Sonic's hair doesn't stand up. This version is also wearing a suite so...

Same excuse can be used for Sonic as his whole Body turns Gold and not just his hair.

Is this really worth debating about, especially in a thread for... not debating things?

SSJ4 had Vegeta have brown hair and crimson fur compared to Goku's Black hair and reddish/pinkish fur. Anything is possible.
SSG would only have different colors for different characters if it was up to Toei or anyone else who cares more about what looks cool than logic. Like a few people here. AT never did that, and would never do that. That, I know. So, if you people at least agree that it's much more likely that if it was up to AT, he would go the logical way, then I shut up and let you have your "AF is possible" way.

There is no set logic to SSJG yet. At the moment anything goes. It already broke the rues of SSJ standards. Akira Toriyama himself broke the tradition. I already said a billion times that most likely SSG will just be red if anyone else gets it. There is a possibility that if anyone else got the form the color would change. But I agree it's much more likely they will stick with red. I don't know what logic your trying to base anything on as SSJG has already broke logic of physically changing appearance having Red Hair, Red eyes, Red Flame aura, and skinnier physique. The reason why I don't rule out color differences is because if they can have Goku absorb the power into himself and basically have most of SSJG's power without the form (I agree with the people thinking its silly) then anything can happen.

SSG didn't break any rules (unless there's a rule that doesn't allow dumb transformations to happen) because it's not exactly a SS to begin with, or at least of a different kind than the usual SS.

All SSJs have gold hair that just extend throughout each form. SSJG has red hair, makes the user skinnier instead of the same physique or buffer, it has a time limit, and some people can absorb the forms power after the time limit to hold on to most of it's power. If that doesn't break SSJ tradition, what does. Also I like to think that just like SSJ4 is described, SSJG is called a Super Saiyan form out of convenience. Like I said there currently isn't a set rule for SSJG and how different it could be for anyone else. Is it likely that people would get different colors (chance is small), is it more likely everyone will be red (most likely). But until we get some description of the form that confirms anything, then we're free to go off of what we feel. I don't treat any color idea as canon or fact. I treat it as a fun possibility.

That's like saying that SS broke the rule because it doesn't look like a giant monkey. SSG is not SS, just named so.

Oozaru is a different transformation then SSJ, it can't break a rule if it isn't the same transformation. SSJG is labelled as an SSJ transformation. And it changed the formula as it didn't follow this usual SSJ trend. SSJG is a SSJ form. I like to think it just called that for convienence, but at the moment it is just another SSJ transformation

I disagree, SSJ God is NOT a SSJ form. First of all it's a separate legend from the SSJ and I can assure you that there were no SSJs around when SSJ God was created. SSJ God is only called SSJ God out of convenience similar to how SSJ4 is called a SSJ form out of convenience. I'm sure it also had something to do with marketing. I just find that a Saiyan God makes far more sense than a SSJ God, especially when it's appearance is a base Goku with red hair and an intense aura. Heck I'd argue that SSJ Goku with that realm of power absorbed into his being is the true "SSJ" God because he is a SSJ with Godly powers.

1) Goku transformed into a Super Saiyan first, then into a Super Saiyan God. Which means that Super Saiyan God comes after Super Saiyan.

2) Shenlong said that to become a Super Saiyan God, a Saiyan needs the light of 5 more Saiyans, and we know how a Saiyan produces light. Videl's/Pan's inclusion in the ritual implies that the majority of the Saiyans have to be Super Saiyans, including the targeted Super Saiyan God.

3) You can't assure us that the good Saiyans were not Super Saiyans, because they were erased from history by the evil Saiyans.

4) It is labelled Super Saiyan for a reason. Super Saiyan 4 was labelled like that because it was the evolution from the combination of Oozaru and Super Saiyan.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The first SSJ God didn't have SSJs power him up. I call bull shit if you say otherwise. Why the hell would the good Saiyans even need SSJ God if they could just go SSJ and crush the evil Saiyans with no effort? Ki creates light... SSJ4 is stated not to be a SSJ at all in the GT Perfect Files. The only reason everyone goes SSJ is because they thought they needed it. Honesty why wouldn't they? It's called SSJ God in the legend.

It possible that the evil Saiyans were too many for the good Saiyans. They were so many that the Super Saiyan God didn't have time to finish them. Quantity over quality.
Super Saiyan 4 was also stated to be the combination of Oozaru and Super Saiyan in the very same guidebook.

A SSJ could wipe out the entire Saiyan populous with little to no effort. Seriously SSJ Raditz would wipe out present day Vegeta(Before it blew up I mean). SSJ God has a time limit, naturally he couldn't get the job done. SSJ could though since it's super powerful and doesn't have a time limit. I'm aware but that combination made something entirely new.
