Oh wow, I'm glad to hear that. 
I'm really interested this stuff too. When viewing the Ide video I was constantly surprised at how well done the in-between animation was. There's a lot of attention paid to doing subtle motions that add fluidity to the animation. Some of the angle work was also incredible.
