Could Goku have used teleport to get around stronger foes?

Goku absorbs most of the power. I really don't know how it effects SSJ. But he does use Shunkan Ido in the fight to out maneuver Birus. The Birus sends a ton of ki attacks flying around him.

So I would guess Goku is still strong enough to determine his opponents movements. Frankly if the gap was anything like his battles before where he couldn't even react to his opponents. E.g. Raditz and Freeza. Then I doubt he'd be able to make use of the teleport.

He can make use of teleporting. But when he reappears it would probably take another second to use which could leave him open. So if you can predict where he will end up, you could hit him before he teleports again. Also Birus is really fast. He makes SSJ3 Goku seem practically motionless without using effort.

Yea SSJ Goku after SSG is really weird. He was putting up nearly the same fight in base as he was in SSG and closed the gap even further with SSJ, but that must mean the 50x multiplier... or even 2x multiplier... is gone. Maybe SSJ was just symbolic or something idk, because base doing almost as well as SSG then transforming into SSJ and barely doing any better is very contradictory.

Synopsis said that Goku didn't notice because he barely powered down. I don't think getting 50x weaker constitutes as "barely".

A thought that I had is that SSJ and SSJG don't affect each other. God ki is different from normal ki, so maybe going SSJ only multiplies the normal ki, and the god power is just added on top of it.

That could definitely work. With SSG being on a completely different level from anything Z has, SSJ maybe only added like 1% to his power or something lol.

Yeah, it does say he didn't notice, because "even after returning to normal, Goku still did not power down very much." But before that it's never stated how much power Beers put forth, all we do know is that he used 70% of his full power in the fight with Goku at some point.

I'm pretty sure if Beers put forth 50x power when Goku powers down by 50x, then it would be noticeable lol. The way it's worded, powering down to base and then SSJ had almost no effect compared to his full SSG power.

Yep. I wonder if SSJ Godku is more powerful than SSJG Goku... That's too off topic though. I'll wait until I see the movie, and then make my own interpretations on what I see.
