Re: North Carolina's Animazement to Host Nozawa and Furukawa
I could hear all of them pretty well.
Also, for those who weren't there, there was a nice moment after the end of that clip where a girl in the audience said (and this is a bad paraphrase) that she was super proud to be that fan's fiancee for doing that.

..................And it's official. My decision not to attend this con has officially entered the ranks of my personal "Top 10 Worst Decisions I Ever Made."
A "rather haggard" translation of a line from Future Gohan in DBZ, provided to FUNimation by Toei:
"To think of fighting that is this fun...so, it was pleasant fight, as many as, therefore is a feeling which is good the fight where."

I love how Masako leads the group kamehameha. I would trade my Horikawa meeting to go to this. This panel must have been amazing and I hope it goes online in full detail.DBZfan5 wrote:some videos from the giant DragonBall panel today at animazement, enjoy-

Too bad the video of Nozawa talking about her favorite Gohan moment cut off before Schemmel's response. I would like to see the interaction between the two.

Agreed, I hope someone puts up full vids. I'd hate to see all the vids be divided by sub/dub lines, especially since I'm a fan of both.ABED wrote:Too bad the video of Nozawa talking about her favorite Gohan moment cut off before Schemmel's response. Yeah man, I'll have the full length videos up by Sunday. You're right, Furukawa's panel was eff'in excellent and definitely a great way to start Day 2.VegettoEX wrote:Plenty of folks were doing video. I just did audio for my own reference, while Meri took the occasional video clip. Report of Day 1 is up. Big afternoon coming up later. Furukawa was fantastic this morning.

Man. I love y'all. Thanks originalbilis for the video work! You're the hero, guy! (get it? Heh...anyway.)
Also, I think Masako Nozawa is easily the sweetest, most charming celebrity I have ever gotten to see in person. I think Goku is truly a part of her and I think it's so so perfect that she was chosen to play him.
And it was AWESOME to meet Mike, Meri, and the folks from this board!

Re: North Carolina's Animazement to Host Nozawa and Furukawa
I really want to meet Masako so bad. But the chances of her coming here or even another convention seem slim to none.
Unless someone asked if she would do more convention appearances.

Semi-silly question, but did anyone ask about Dragon Ball Kai's Majin Boo arc?

I would like to know this too. It doesn't seem like something someone would ask though. Sometimes I feel like the only DBZK fan.JulieYBM wrote:Semi-silly question, but did anyone ask about Dragon Ball Kai's Majin Boo arc?

Don't worry, I'm one too. Unless a miracle happens, Kai's the only way I can get the dub I want of the franchise.Tanooki Kuribo wrote:I would like to know this too. I'll go a step further. I like Kai's dub more than the original Japanese version, despite also liking the Japanese version. *blindfolds self, smoking a cigarette*songohan619 wrote:I love (Z) Kai, too, just as much as the original Z!
