I have to say, when it comes to movesets, Krillin is one interesting character: is rush-in attacks on the ground are a jumping ki-blast at the opponent (like the end of Goku's meteor combinations from the sparking games) and on the air it's a kick following up with a energy beam, is signature is a solar-flare followed by a quick combo, which is really nice considereing that Gohan, Vegeta, Piccolo and Frieza have a rising knee followed by a combo as a signature.
Then there's frieza which on the air has the best tactical moveset: is signature is his Death Wave and his rush-in is that attack that paralises the opponent when then trows him away
The one I was disappointed in terms of movesets is Piccolo, is Rush-in is a strong punch and is signature is a two-hit combo, it's reallly nothing out of the ordinary.

As for supers and ultras, it's what you would expect from the cast, however Cell's is pretty brutal, he just teleports at the opponent, gives them a massive beat down followed-up by an energy-beam to the ground, and I still can't find a way to dodge it.

Cool, sounds like Kuririn got some love. Let me try and guess some supers and ultras (it's only one each right?):

Goku: Kamehameha and Spirit Bomb (or maybe Warp Kamehameha instead)

Vegeta: Big Bang and Final Flash

Piccolo: Makankosappo and Hellzone Grenade

Kuririn: Kamehameha and Kienzan

Gohan: Masenko and SS2 Kamehameha

Freeza: Death Beam and Death Ball

How many did I get right? :P

Sooo.... my android version stopped working. When it starts up, the loading screen will show up, take forever to load, stop halfway and then a black screen with white characters show up and the app closes. Anyone else have this problem?

So as it turns out, I ended up being pretty close.

The only ones I got wrong was Vegeta's Big Bang Attack (it was Galick Gun), Gohan's SS2 Kamehameha (It's a Kamehameha, but he stays Super Saiyan), and Freeza's Death Beam (it was another Death Ball).

The game's been updated to version 1.2 which fixes some bugs, with Namco Bandai adding more screenshots:

Sales are now between 10,000 and 50,000 copies.

I wonder what those (mostly) Saiyan-arc cards are for?

I have a question.

Is there any way to get this game to work on Samsung Galaxy S4? I would want to buy it for one, but it tells me it's not compatible or something, i'm not sure? I really want to play it! =(

The Google Play store supports region locks, and Namco Bandai used them for this title. With Android there's ways to get around them, but it's best to search on your own to find out how.

Region locks or not, the compatibility list for this game doesn't even state it works on S4 (SC-04E in Japan) T_T

Okay, so about the "hidden characters", how did you exactly "found" them? Have you seen any of their sprites or only names, TheGameTagerZ?

I found some sprites. But not for everyone though.

Whoa, pretty interesting stuff. Thanks for posting the video! Bardock and Vegetto's sprites are really rough and have some issues (both of them 'glitch' during their specials) so I can understand why they weren't included, but I wonder about the others? They seem to be just fine (and SS3 Goku's ultimate is pretty neat).

I agree. On the character select screen it says "Rare" on their cards. Maybe some of them are unlockable by doing some missions or something, i don't know.

Okay guys, I finally got this game for iOS (by making a japanese appleid (which isn't hard) and then getting a japenese itunes gift card)

You can get it for android by downloading the apk I believe.

Anyway, I saw a lot of talk about the controls, and here's the thing. There's a simple mode and an advanced mode.

The advanced mode is really great and you can make some nice combos with it. How it works:

Controls

Combo system
Keep in mind however, attacks in this game DO NOT BUILD KI. Which is weird, but you build ki from blocking it seems.

So going for knockdowns so you can power up is going to be one of your strategies.

All in all, this game is suprisingly good. I highly recommend it not just as a DBZ fan, but as a quality mobile game.

That's all I have for now, I can go in depth with character movesets if people want.

I've mainly been using krillin though. he's freaking awesome.

SSJ Goku and Cell are really good.

Can someone confirm that PS3 controller is compatible with this game on the iOS system?

The game certainly looks very addictive and fun but touchpad gaming tends to be imprecise for fighters, platformers, shooters, racers and more.
