That collectible set with the books, figure and all that looks pretty sweet. Unfortunately, I definitely do not have the money to buy it right now or import it. It would be nice, if/when FUNi does a dub, they release the same kind of package. I have faith that they will, considering the approach they've taken with the series lately. It looks pretty awesome, despite the cover having SSJ Gohan... though him turing SSJ does end up playing somewhat of an important role, so oversight or not, I can overlook it. I'd be buying it to watch, not to look at anyways.

The promo on the Amazon page has a different version of Cha-La-Head-Cha-La than the Flow one, huh.

If you're referring to the ad, it's because they're using the Head-Cha-La that's used for the title card of the film.

I just pre-ordered from amazon and chose the amazon exclusive, I don't collect posters so that wasn't really an issue for me.
I absolutely love the simplistic slip covers

The fox ordeal still scares me so I'll just import and see how things go stateside, and Justin Chatwin just scares the life out me thinking that he'll VA Son Goku...

I'm definitely importing; both because waiting for the U.S. release would be too long a wait for me at this point and because I'm not sure how well FOX and Funi will be able to get along. I'm waffling over whether to go limited edition or stick with the regular edition though. >_<

I have those movie-poster post-cards already (they came with a VJump issue several years back; though for all I know the ones that are in this set are bigger and glossier, though that wouldn't really matter) and everything else looks all preliminary photoshop-mock-up to me so it's not what it really looks like. If it were the final images, that would clinch it for me one way to the other.

EDIT: I've decided to limited edition; even with it being $40 more than the regular blu-ray, I think it's more worth it to spend the $106 for the blu-ray plus the extras than to spend $67 on just the blu-ray; feels like I'm getting more my money's worth with the limited edition one. Heading to CDJapan now to pre-order. >uO

Hmm, I might just cave in and get the SE Blu-Ray, the price isn't as high as I thought it would be. It'd be worth the price just to see the film in HD and be able to brag to my friends.

As for the subtitle issue, I'm positive once the Blu-Ray/DVD is out, we'll start seeing someone posting up subtitle scripts online within the week (which isn't really illegal, since it's just a translation with no video/audio attached to it.) I'd use that to re-encode/mux into the Blu-Ray footage anyway.

Or you can wait the extra year or so for a domestic release....

I though the was asking what an "Amazon Exclusive" was. My mistake. It seems like the only thing extra in the exclusive (in addition to things in the other editions) is the steelbook.
