I never noticed (for years now) that this person was Yamcha. I always thouht it was Goku in the openening or at least Vegeta. It goes by so fast you really couldn't tell.

To add to the confusion, in the Cell games, those frames are re-used AS Goku (in SSJ)

But there was an additional pair other than that. Kibito and Kaioshin both had a pair. They each took off one and fused using the ones they were still wearing. They presumably dropped one the ones they took off.

But you're right. Goku and Vegeta crused Kibitoshin's earrings. I doubt they would've used that spare pair lying on the ground somewhere, anyway.

I for the longest time thought that was Goku doing a Genki-dama! The frames go by so frickin' fast I thought the first two of the super-fast shots were cutting to the same thing from a different angle.

Very confusing, I know, but if you just...no, wait...that made no sense.

Heres one thing I noticed. I never caught this at first but then I realized it.

It is a common misconception that the pants that SSJ4 Goku and Vegeta are wearing come out of nowhere but as you can see, Goku was already wearing the yellow, and Vegeta his leathers.

I've always taken the 'Goku's pants comming out of nowhere' thing to mean that his clothes tear apart when he turns Golden Oozaru, and then he becomes a SSJ4, and he suddenly has clothes.

Yeah, Budokai 3 really didn't help this misconception, in fact it made it worse.

Dbz Goku and Vegeta transforming into Super Saiyan 4s.

Note how Goku's wristbands turn blue in Super Saiyan 4 and how the wrapping around his ankles change form. >_> Goku's belt is also quite different.

Vegeta's boots go from a blue-ish color to white.

Has anyone notice that Mistic Gohan did not level up after he got beat up by Gotrunks Majin Buu. I mean he got healed by Dende and he was still not able to beat him.

Who is "Mistic Gohan"? Are you referring to "Sakyo no Gohan" (Strongest or Mightiest Gohan)?

If such is the case, then you can consider his not powering up as backup to the "Maximum Potential" theory. If you aren't familiar with such...I'll explain it at your request.

Goku's clothes do change quite substantialy in SSJ4... apart from the scaling up, only his shoes and pants remained of the same design. I assume it's a sort of magic, or ki manipulation, similar to how Piccolo creates clothes...

Of course, I wish it weren't. A big, adult SSJ4 Goku running around naked? Heaven.

Proof that the GT animators are dicks: SSJ4 Vegeta. When he first appears in GT, he has Meri's #1 worst haircut, but in SSJ4, take away the long hair, it's just his original hair, but kinda reddish. A friend o' mine told me Vegeta has a haircut in GT because the animators couldn't draw Vegeta's original hair.

Assholes.

Actually, didn't Akira Toriyama design Vegeta's... um, whatever hairstyle it is? (As well as the mustage?) The regular animators don't decide what the character looks like; Toriyama or [insert the name of that guy who can mimic Toriyama's style so well that even Toriyama can't tell the difference here] design what all the characters look like.

But yes, Vegeta's hair is the same as in Z, plus a little extra that hangs over the shoulders, like Goku has, which I guess they got by mixing their hairstyles with an Oozaru's hair/fur at the top of the head. Hey, what would they look like if they had the Oozaru sideburns?

Oh yes, and why is Chibi GT Goku so tan? He's not tan as an adult before he turns into a kid, at the end of GT, the Goku jr. special, in any of the endings... I don't get it. I think he was tan as an adult (not SSJ) on one magazine cover or something.

All that time training up at Kami's (Dende's) Palace with Uub must've bronzed him up. It is really high in the sky and closer to the sun...
