I watched Kei's video and I like his music, But I can't dig up anything about the guy. Is he a big composer? what other series or movies has he composed for?
Please give me any information you know about him.
Can anyone tell me about Norihito Sumitomo?

There's room for only one snake, and one big boss.

As you can see , he specialises in TV Dramas .
The last time I heard his score was in ''Good Life~Arigato, Papa. Sayonara~'' .
His music is easily forgetable so ... nothing special .
However, I did enjoy some of his ''Guilty : Akuma to Keiyaku Shita Onna'' soundtracks .
I think that Toei could (not to say should) have hired another music composer for BoG .
His tracks are good but they are pretty much forgetable .
And as it seems, he composed the music for the Buu Saga of Kai .
Well, let's get our fingers crossed and hope for better soundtracks .

The most important thing to tell about him is that the guy is probably the best possible composer for Dragon Ball, as proven by Battle of Gods!
Every single track from Battle of Gods is both beautiful and filled with perfect emotion wanted for the moment! I would have never expected such a high level for that franchise.
Maybe the Yamamoto incident was all for the better in the end, at least for Kai's Boo saga.

I no longer am worried about how good he will do if he composes for the series, Have you checked his Asura (not asura's wrath) Soundtrack? THAT THING SOUNDS LIKE FREAKING PRINCESS MONONOKE!! it's amazing beyond measure! If he composes like this for dbz kai, we've got a great composer here!Cold Skin wrote:The most important thing to tell about him is that the guy is probably the best possible composer for Dragon Ball, as proven by Battle of Gods!
