Kingdom Hearts 3 is in development, New footage of 13Versus (now renamed FF15) and Killer Instinct is back... I don't expect any DB news at E3 and at this rate, yeeeaaaah Japan expo it is.. Namco Bandai would be laughed at if they announce anything Dragon Ball related. The last time Dragon Ball made an appearance at E3 was in 05 (around the time I first discovered G4) there was a big ass poster with Janemba and Goku promoting Tenkaichi 1. Hell Naruto is arguably at the peak of its popularity and it hasn't had an E3 appearance since Storm 1 and RIse of a Ninja.

@Hulkty is this your first time watching E3? the entire event is about a week long so theres still ample time for a DB game to be announced but like I said it isn't very likely. The Japan expo is at least three days long and thats were all the Japanese games get their shine time anime based ones and the like, so its much more likely that it'll be announced then which I personally prefer.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

Is anyone actually surprised there's no new dbz game news at E3? Because I'm sure as heck not....

I knew we would get nothing at E3. 4th of July is not that far off.

I know. Fourth of July is right around the corner. That's for sure is when we'll hear about the new dbz game!

At least it's now confirmed that the Ps4 will be region free, meaning we will be able to import the Japanese versions of coming Dragon Ball games if we want to.

Namco Bandai had one game revealed on Xbox One E3 that I can remember, but nothing else of Bandai. As an Xbox gamer that conference was disappointing and sometimes awesome, but overall I'm going with PS4. That's for sure.

But it's not Region Free for the Blu-ray films and series, right? I guess it's as Region Free as is PS3.

First off, the actual show floor for E3 doesn't even open until this afternoon. Yesterday was just big company press conferences, and Namco-Bandai doesn't do one of those. The best (only?!) showing DBZ's ever gotten at an E3 press conference was a couple years ago when Tenkaichi Tag Team was just part of a montage reel for PSP's upcoming library at Sony's conference.

Second, I don't think a DBZ game has ever been announced at E3, and waiting/anticipating/expecting it would be silly. A licensed property like DBZ would just be completely trounced by the larger, mass-market games being announced and trotted out. If something for DBZ has already announced by E3 they bring it along, but don't really put an over-abundance of emphasis on it... because that would be a waste of time and resources for them.

I really don't understand why anyone hopes we will see something in E3, when we already have confirmation that we will not see anything in E3, but we will see in Japan Expo.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

I would be laughing at all these posts if Nintendo Direct would have threw a DBZ game at us in a hour

this is from treevax via facebook in a replay :

this time, we've been heared. Namco Bandai released an HD collection and a Kinect episode last year, but were working on "something bigger than ever" in the backstage.

This is where we are. It's about to be revealed in a few times. And it's big.

bigger than tenkaichi 3 ? i hope so cause that's what a lot of us have been wanting since 2008 and for the gameplay i hope it's a mix of raging blast and tenkaichi but improved apon

by the way dosen't (bigger than ever) sound familiar ? how much you all want to bet that sparking omega wasn't just a 100% wrong rumer ?

As long as it's not Ultimate Tenkaichi 2. I don't think my inner fanboy/gamer could take it.

Possibly for Xbox One or PS4? Wouldn't be surprised, glad someone's doing something out there. Still not gonna get my hopes up if things are still on the hush... for no apparent reason. :shh:
