Tenkaichi 2 was in the Wii's 2006 game montage as well, so there's one more.

But yeah, Dragon Ball announcements, if there are any at all, will be footnotes in the grand scheme.

Just like Dragon Ball since Chapter #4.

I'm not completely sold yet. It goes without saying that some skepticism as far as the actual title goes is good, but I mean specifically in terms of Treevax's credibility. We know that he met with the producers, and he outlined a nice concept for Raging Blast 3, but we have yet to receive confirmation that he is actually "in the know". For all we know, he's full of shit and there's actually no new Dragon Ball game coming out this year at all... or it is, and it's coincidental to what Treevax is claiming.

I'm not saying he's a liar, but, I just wouldn't be shocked if things didn't pan out as he's been saying. I think by now we should know to have a strict skepticism about anything new related to this series.

How would you know about coincidential....? If what Treevax has been saying was right all along, is that coincidence? Or was it because he was keeping closely with Bandai? He met with the producers and has been with Namco-Bandai for a while. He has already proven that we could trust his source.

I don't care if you guys are going to take his words with grain of salt, but don't go saying he's full of it. It annoys me heck out of it.

Super Smash Bros for the 3DS and Wii U has been revealed and it's coming out in 2014, but to me the trailer didn't really look any good and Goku isn't in the game like some expected.

Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmCVzjGVFy4

I'll just wait till July because that's our best chance to get any news of the new Dragon Ball game for 360/PS3.

Btw, Trevax may be saying the truth but no one should fully trust him when Namco Bandai hasn't said anything at all.

I guess that is a sign that we will see something soon. I really want to see if this game has been in the making for two years or not.

Hopefully it's not focused on Dragon Ball Z because we already have way too many games about it. Start from Dragon Ball, for once.

DB:RoKP doesn't count, many didn't play it because it was a Wii exclusive and apparently it didn't sell well.

They also gave false impression that they'd reveal Dragon Ball when the Facebook page reached 100k likes but they didn't. I don't have hopes for a DB game any time soon.

Not saying I expect Goku to be in it, anyway, but they'll be announcing characters up until a few months before the game comes out. If there were any chance at all he would be in it, then there's still plenty of time.

What if it were only the Dragon Ball Z story and have 300 characters? That's considerably big to say that it's a big game, even though it's only in quantity.

Would that post imply we get something during E3 or afterwards?

It's been said again and again that a Dragon Ball game is not going to see the light at E3.... Their best bet is to promote it through Japan Expo... which will be held next month.

Yeah, the facebook post indicates that as well. They can't wait for E3 ends and Japan Expo takes the light, however how many people pay attention to it.

It could be the information they promised back during the 100K likes campaign.

They have been quite confident with their marketing campaign so far. Generating all that hype, teasing people with rather condensed statements while keeping everyone uncertain about anything for such long time. They act like they have a holy grail of Dragon Ball - and they better have one, otherwise all of this would backfire diminishing the last shred of trust people still have for that franchise.

Yeah, if they make one fuck up they are gonna get massive backlash because of how they have been handling this reveal. If they give us one more steaming pile I will demand that someone else handle DBZ.

I couldn't find anything about "working backstage" on Treevex's page. All of his post seem to focus on his fan project which he keeps addressing as a "fan project." Maybe I'm blind but I couldn't find it. Anyway, as for the facebook page that likes to over hype everything...lets not get carried away with that either. Last time was a bust and I'm betting this one will be disappointing too. Not to mention it would be an awkward place to reveal something given that only Europe can see it. As for the Japan expo, we'll see but the only confirmation we have for that was a friend of Treevex making the claim. No one from Namco-Bandai has said anything about it. The further we move along, the more I think there isn't anything for us to see.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

Here is the whole reply:
"Nostal/Treevax: @Avi Jatt: OK, now let me tell you a wonderful story called "how it really works in the backstage". You will love it! ^^

Dragon Ball isn't owned by Namco Bandai, it's owned by Shueisha (editor), Toei (anime rights) and Bird Studio (Toriyama). NB only has a contract with them, with permission to make games, but with very specific conditions! For example: at least one "big" DB game every year, or else the contract can be stopped. Which means 1 year for the overall producing, but around 6 month only for the actual development!!

This is why Burst Limit's content is this weak. This is why Raging Blast's gameplay and camera are half finished. This is why Raging Blast 2 doesn't have any storymode. And this is also why Ultimate Tenkaichi is full of position bugs, and its roster is this small.

But this time, we've been heared. Namco Bandai released an HD collection and a Kinect episode last year, but were working on "something bigger than ever" in the backstage.

This is where we are. It's about to be revealed in a few times. And it's big"
