As we previously mentioned, this item "DragonBall Z: Dragon Box 2 (ep.43-84)" is still seems to be back-ordered.

Due to this reason, we were unable to reveal the estimated ship date for this back ordered item as we rely on suppliers for obtaining items to fulfill our customer orders.

We already contacted the supplier for more information on the availability but we yet to receive the reply from them. We'll email you with an estimated delivery date as soon as we receive items from our suppliers.

Meanwhile, I researched on our website and found that this item is currently available only from our third-party sellers at Amazon Marketplace.

Comments:Hello. I apologize for another email, but I recently noticed that the Amazon.ca listing for Dragon Box 2 has disappeared and the item can now be ordered only from third party sellers. Damn it. I ordered the first, second and fourth box and chose the option to send me the package only when they'll be able to complete it. And you know what? They split it anyway. I received boxes 1 and 4 this Tuesday. I only wanted to start my DBox collection when I'd be sure that I'll get all of them.

Guess it's only a matter of time before I receive the same e-mail as Pretorious.

The difference there is Amazon (.com, in this case) has the product and, as of this post, have only 6 in stock. So, the first 6 who order it will receive it while anybody who orders it after those sell out will most likely be out of luck.

Amazon always does that if there will be a delay with one of the items. They won't, as far as I know, cancel an entire order when only a single item is found to be unavailable. They break up the shipment, at no extra cost, as a courtesy. If you didn't want to receive any Dragon Boxes unless you could get them all, you should have canceled the order when you had the chance. There is, after all, nothing stopping you from returning the sets you received for a refund, provided you haven't opened them.

Then why does this option even exist if they don't even follow it? And I did try to cancel the other boxes the second I saw that they wanted to split the package, but I guess it was too late. And now that I have these two boxes, I'll just keep them. Who knows, maybe I'll find an offer for box 2 for some decent price (however unlikely it sounds), or I'll just fill the missing spot with corresponding Season Set (bleh...) or singles.

I got Dragon Boxes 5-6-7 and then the Kai sets for the rest. Kai looks especially beautiful during the Namek arc. Those greens!

That's what I did as well. For example, I got season one and part 3 of dbz kai for the saiyan and namek sagas

If all of the items are in stock, they do follow the single shipment option. However, they go off of the assumption that if you order something you want to receive the item, so when one particular item is holding up the shipment they will split it off and ship the available items at no additional cost. Like I said before, they do it as a courtesy to get you your items faster.

From Amazon.ca's shipping options, the wording is actually "Group my items into as few shipments as possible" and the description includes the following:

In some cases, you might receive more shipments than we indicated you would when you placed your order. We'll never charge you more for shipping than the amount originally quoted to you at the time you place your order.

So, while Amazon had the two other Dragon Boxes you ordered and they had no time frame for whether they would be able to fulfill Dragon Box 2 or not, they sent what they could. Amazon is a business, after all, and your order had two stocked items in a queue which were then unavailable for other potential buyers but still residing in their dispatch centre. I currently work in a shipping environment and if an item for an order is not in stock, it will be canceled so the order can go out.

I do agree that Kai looks beautifull during the Namek to Freeza arcs and the original music makes it even so much better and cinematic, those who really are fans of Kai should try to watch it as it was intended not with bs replacement music. And on Blu-ray (HD).

Anyway, if my Dragon Box 2 order is cancelled then the money goes to DBZ Ocean Dub Boxset, which I'm planning to buy already.

Indeed! If you can get it for that price, it could equal over even be slightly lower than retail. Definitely a very good opportunity for anybody living in the United States to get the whole set.

Strange, its been a few days and my order still hasn't been cancelled. You'd think they would cancel them all at once.
