Did gohan pull the Z sword in manga too or was it only in anime ?

None of the Daizenshuu say that he doesn't. I've explained this countless times, but the closest that happens is that one of them, either 2 or 4, fails to mention that he doesn't use it (which isn't the same thing at all).

Basically, this Daizenshuu has a section where it shows the debuts of various characters and forms. For teen Gohan's SS2, it has the debut as volume 37, instead of volume 37+. In the context of this section, that implies it wasn't used after volume 37, however, they make the same mistake with Gohan's Ultimate form (it appears in volume 41 & 42 but the Daizenshuu only says 41 instead of 41+) and Goku's adult "form". So it's nothing more than an implication and it isn't even reliable due to other errors of the same type.

Who says Gohan used his Ultimate state in Vol 42? Vol 42 starts up with Buuhan bragging about his power, it's never clear whether or not he used his powered up state to fuel the Genki Dama. I'm also one to think Gohan being a SSJ2 in the Daizenshuu 7 is a mistake without it being hinted at that he doesn't in another issue. The aura, hair, face, and lack of lightning don't match up. Oh and that GT perfect file excuse is invalid. GT isn't part of Toriyama's work and every SSJ2 in the manga has lightning. If this were the anime, it would hold some water.

The fact that Gohan still has Ultimate features.

And there's no way that adult Goku not appearing after his debut isn't an error.

The sharp face isn't a feature, because he didn't have one after the ritual. It's the enclosed eyes.

Yes, but as I said, Gohan didn't look like that (against Boo) after the ritual either. It was only when he fought Boo that he looked like that (and his hair doesn't always look like that while fighting Boo anyway).
