So, in the guides for the DBox releases (for example,
Dragon Box Z Vol. #1), it says that the source of the audio is from the source material. But didn't they throw away the original tapes, which is why the audio quality is bad?
And also, in the Negative Aspects section, why isn't any mention of:
- The audio being high-quality in the TV broadcasts, but low-quality in the DBoxes.
- The colors being aged compared to how it looked in the original broadcast.
- The sound being slightly off (mostly noticeable (and annoying) when Red is getting shot in the head).

Yeah, I also noticed the 'source audio' comment when I looking around the other day. I'm not sure whether it means more along the lines of 'it came from the closest copy to the original master they could find' or whether it's just an error. I imagine it's the latter.
I have to agree about the colour but I'm not sure that's a case of being wrong but rather just choosing to portray it in a positive light. They're good scans of the cells they have, they're just not colour corrected appropriately.
I can't speak for the others though but I do think a little clarity could be added just to keep up the fantastic quality of the site.
