In the site news, it says that the co-operation mode will be (up to) 4 vs many, and has the Ginyu Tokusentai as an example for the "many". Does that mean that it could be 4 vs 5? Or maybe we will fight the 4 members, and then Ginyu as a final boss? Does it say anything more about it?

Actually, we had 8 Budokai-styled games, and 7 Sparking!-styled games.

Budokai:
  • Dragon Ball Z
    Dragon Ball Z 2 (V)
    Dragon Ball Z 3
    Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit
    Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World
    Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai
Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai 2
    Dragon Ball Evolution

Sparking!:
  • Dragon Ball Z: Sparking!
    Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! NEO
    Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! METEOR
    Dragon Ball: Tag VS
    Dragon Ball: Raging Blast
    Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2
    Dragon Ball: Ultimate Blast

The battle royal mode will have up to 8 players, so 1v1 should be possible.

We wrote everything that we got from it. There's nothing more to say.

It says up to eight players, so I would assume that "four vs many" can be "four versus one OR two OR three OR four (but not more than four)" at any one time.

Xbox One is not even going to be released in Japan, so there is no point on a Xbox One release. Also the last two Sparking games were still on the PS2 in 2006 and 2007. Don't count on a DBZ game on next gen systems until 2015 at least.

I see thanks. A final question, what is "DBS"? "Dragon Ball Section"?

And also, do we have a HQ scan of the 2nd scan without the watermark?

"DBS" is "Dragon Ball Scoop", a regular feature in V-Jump where they debut and discuss new stuff for the franchise.

I don't roll in the world of leaked pages, so I cannot point you to anything.

Opps my bad. 8 players in total still worries me because of the frame rate. I don't want the game to be laggy as hell.

Given the 2 year development time, rather than the rushed 6+ months to get the game out. I'm hoping they worked out the kinks for online lagging and stuff like that. It's not entirely unlikely that we won't see it, but given the amount of time they've had I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

This scan (http://goo.gl/cBc9L) has been translated in french, and it clearly mentions that you can fight "alone or with your allies", under the picture where Vegeta punches Goku.

Don't get your hopes up. As cool as an HD SSJ4 would be, I don't think we'll be getting one.
Why would you think that? They've only shown one scan....
Look at their track record.
Also guys, people are gonna keep their 360s and PS3s. The X Bone isn't gonna sell, and the PS4 isn't backwards compatible. Releasing the game for those 2 systems is a smart move.

Vegeta: "Funny... I seem to recall Kakarot being fed the same information right before he transformed; the distinct look on your faces when he went Super Saiyan didn't exactly inspire confidence. One does not predict or calculate power like ours."

It IS going to be released. It's just that it'll be later than Europe and North America.

Please, have a consistent OST between Japanese and international versions.
Also, a new Kageyama theme would be nice.

I hope to see a good selection of characters. I don't want them to go over board with over 100 characters. I think 60 is a good limit.

Who's the developer behind this game?

As this is probably the last game for 360/PS3 I hope to god that they include the synthesised tracks of Kikuchi.

PS Vita is getting a lot of support from Sony which they're aiming the Vita to be highly successful, and with these cross-buy titles people will prefer PlayStation over Xbox or Wii.

Sony for the next-gen has it won, PS4 is the console that the majority are going to buy so that's settled.

I would't mind having a roster similar to the following games.

Rb2
Tenkaichi 2
Tenkaichi 1
Budokai 2
Budokai 3

Maybe throw in some other characters that was filler but useful for that filler. Anyone agree?

I want good gameplay. The only thing I didn't like about the third Sparking game was that it had so much characters and hardly new gameplay changes. I think they should keep it around 60 or maybe 65. Don't go overboard with 200 characters when most of them play the same.
