In the end Baby Vegeta is essentially the same as GT Vegeta. Just strip off the gray hair and lines in his eyes and face and give him new Vegeta-esque attacks.

Does anyone remember if the PS2 and Wii versions of Tenkaichi 2 were announced at the same time? If they weren't, then perhaps there's still hope that this new game will come to Wii U.

The Vita version confirms Namco Bandai now has negotiated global digital rights with Shueshia. All Vita titles are required to be released on PSN. I'd say we can now hound the company for classic releases on PSN/eShop but dat Yamamoto music ...
Zenkai wrote:I am EXTREMELY disappointed that the game is not for Wii U!!!!!

And it's on Vita!?! Really!? It probably would have been much easier to put it on Wii U than on the Vita. Not to mention that I think it would sell better on Wii U than on the Vita.

Well, it looks like I'm not getting a console Dragon Ball game for the 4th year in a row.
As I've stated earlier, Sony has provided third party developers with access to tools to port PS3 games to Vita. They can do this because they know both of those platforms like the back of their hands, where as Nintendo likely doesn't have that comprehensive knowledge of the PS3's hardware to offer similar tools for Wii U. This makes a Vita release a very low cost product.

As well, I'm not actually convinced a Wii U version would outsell the Vita release. Third party software has put up some truly abysmal numbers on Wii U with only Sonic Racing, and Monster Hunter being good performers. Since Japanese numbers are public, I'll share some info for you. One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 was a simultaneous release on PS3 and Vita in Japan. Unsurprisingly, the PS3 version outsold the Vita version with ease. That said, the PSV version has sold more than 100k and counting in that region. Only three Wii U games have sold that much in Japan, and of those three Monster Hunter was the only third party game. Everything else has put up horrible numbers. Dragon Ball is no One Piece, but it definitely isn't a Monster Hunter.

Don't take this as me being rude, but if you bought a Nintendo home console expecting to play third party games you bought the wrong platform.

As for the above conversation, bringing up Tenkaichi 2 is a bit of a poor comparison. That was a launch window game for the Wii, so a delayed release from the PS2 date makes sense. There's no reason for NBGI to hide the existence of a Wii U sku for this game.
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

He has different voice & different lines when speaking though. I think we should have Baby & GT Vegeta as two separate characters that merge into Vegeta-Baby. I think that's how DBH has it.

Actually, we had for Vegeta:

Vegeta: Scouter (base, Oozaru)
Vegeta (base, SS, SSG2)
Vegeta: Second Form (base, SS, SS2, Vegetto, Super Vegetto, SS Gogeta)
Vegeta: Second Form (Majin)
Vegeta: Second Form (SS4, SS4 Gogeta)

But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

I don't really care about most third-party games. Nintendo games are superior, in my opinion. I would probably purchase a Dragon Ball game for Wii U if one comes out, but buying a PS3 or Xbox360 just for a game or two isn't worth it. The only games I would want that are on PS3 are Ni No Kuni and the new Dragon Ball game. And the only game I would want that's on 360 is the new Dragon Ball game.

(Aside: There have been many great third-party titles on Nintendo home consoles.)

I know that BT2 and BT3 for Wii were released after the PS2 version. I want to know if they were announced at the same time or not.

Hmm if Vegeta doesn't need separate versions of himself, I'm all for it  . However, the only problem here is we are gonna need Ultimate attack customization, which I too would be pretty ok with.

They can do what MK9 did by giving the character different dialogue when you use the different outfit. I do miss having Vegeta as a SSj with his Saiyan Saga outfit.

Still, Vegeta-Baby & SS Vegeta are two different persons with different powers. They shouldn't be one character just because they look similar.

Did you buy a Wii U thinking it would get all multiplatform games from third party developers? I kind of feel sorry if you bought it for that purpose because Wii U isn't getting that much attention from devs.

I guess that's not meant to be a joke comment, but even then, a Wii U gamer would get tired of just playing the same two games repetitively.

I got tired of New Super Mario Bros U after a few mins and thankfully I didn't buy the console because it's not getting anywhere until 2014.

I see people on Treevax's page who are super butt hurt over the game. We just got new info after waiting months and we should wait for more info before we start hating on it.
